Are there quiet courtyard views at WL? I usually try to stay on the top floor of any hotel, because I'm such a big baby and I want to minimize noise. :rolleyes1

If you enter and stare out straight ahead, 2 flights up, that is the room we stayed in...right over the lobby and had a balcony over the pool, stream and geyser...it was super quiet and that was in early Dec. There was 3 weddings that went on in the large sitting room right next to our room and we never heard a peep.

Few weeks ago we were there and with the slider shut, ceiling fan and TV on you can't here a thing. this resort is alot better noise wise than others. Other than guest on the floor above you jumping around, never understood what other guests do above us, the resort is very peaceful.

We had a 3rd floor courtyard view last year in July. It was pretty crowded but with the door shut we never heard the noise.

My last stay in a 6th floor CV room facing the main pool we did hear some loud adults and children at 2am in the pool. I'd suggest avoiding the main courtyard if that noise would bother you.

I had a courtyard view a few years ago at WL. It was December, so the weather was mild and we kept the balcony door open when we were in the room during the daytime.

I remember constant noise. Children squealing and life guards droning "Off the rocks please," "No running please," "thank you." I don't recall any problems when the door was closed or when we were trying to sleep.

We had a courtyard view last year. I don't remember noise being an issue at all.:goodvibes

We were there in March 2006 and had a first floor Courtyard view and never noticed any issues with noise except when parents allowed kids to run up and down the halls screaming. (Always amazes me.)

We just returned on Wednesday and for this stay had a courtyard view on the 6th floor. Again, never had any problems with noise.

It may depend the exact location of your room and how busy it is ... though. In March is was packed. In Sept/Oct this trip the crowds were moderate.
