COURTYARD BY MARRIOTT - DISNEY $107 a night

My girlfriend and I are taking our first trip to Walt Disney World and we have been looking at various accomidation ideas.

We are trying to be very budget minded here which makes any of the onsite disney resorts pretty much off limits since we are going the day after Christmas and staying till after the New Years which seems not to be a cheap time to go.

My question is this, is COURTYARD BY MARRIOTT - DISNEY worth $107 a night. This seems to be the cheapest DTD resort for this time frame.

We won't be getting a car, so we will be using the shuttle service of what ever hotel we stay at. Also, we probably will only be spending 5 of the 8 days touring the Walt Disney World parks.

That is a really rough time to get a good rate. (It is the MOST crowded time at Disney according to the guidebooks.) I think that is high for the Courtyard, but I know that I looked into Pop Centry for 12/24 and it was $144 with taxes.

Have you tried hotwire or priceline? For 12/24 I am pretty sure Hotwire was offering the Wyndam Palace for around $70.

I don't know where you looked but we were able to get Courtyard for 12/25- 12/27 for $89 a night. We booked a couple weeks ago through Dreams Unlimited.
