Has anyone stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott in Lake Buena Vista on Palm Parkway? If so, what kind of room and location of room. Would you stay there again?

We stayed here last August for 25 nights. Look at my list below of where we have stayed. Courtyard was the best we have been to from all these. Got a great rate of £26/night incl tax (approx $49), doubt we will get the rate again but worth every penny.
Personally think its location is the best you can get and the room had everything we needed except a fridge. Very good free wireless connection inroom also.
Want to book it again for Easter 14 nights and August 25 nights but cant find a rate much under $100/night for either trip.

Does anyone have any pictures of a suite? I found a rate of $432 for a suite for 4 nights through aaa's travel site under hotel specials and that's including tax. Would have loved last years rate special!

When we checked in they offered us a suite for an extra $20/night so If you could find a good rate for a standard room maybe you could upgrade at checkin, but always a chance they wont offer.
What dates are you wanting? I can check sites in UK, we sometimes get better rates here, some allow to book from other counties

Thanks for the offer Wayneg. We are going May 8-12. I've searched many websites and the $432 was the cheapest I've found so far.

I have found a deal on a website I use, they are about 20 miles from where I live and very good company. I know you can book with them from over there as another Dis member contacted me last week and was using them. This link should work but let me know if not
Did your deal include breakfast? I would do room only and eat elsewhere.
exchange is approx $1.90/£1, and searched for just 2 adults, if you add children room only stays same cost but the breakfast costs increase.
A standard room for 4 night works out at approx $199
A suite would be approx $283
Their prices incl tax
You can add breakfast but is expensive at an extra $85 (for 4 nights)

You only pay a deposit now and the balance is due 5 weeks to travel.
Give me a shout if I can do anything else to help.

Wayneg, thank you so much for that site. I was able to get a suite for $288 that was for 2 adults and 2 children. Have a great time on your next trip and make sure to let us know how your stay went. This just goes to show you what great people there are on the Dis!

Thats fantastic, I love it when i can help save money. If I did not have a succesful Floristry business I am sure I could make a living from the travel industry, people just pay way too much for things. We go to Florida 3 times a year for what some familes pay to go once.
Let us know how your trip went in May either on here or a PM.

Just booked myself now:cool1:
With Alpharooms in August for 25 nights. First 8 nights they had no Std rooms available so booked 8 nights in a suite at $68. Then 17 night in Std room at $52 both incl tax. :cloud9:
Just 14 nights at Easter to sort out now.

I'm staying here for 12 nights starting may 5th! I would love to get some more information. I saw someone said they didn't have a fridge.... Can anyone else say anything about that?

No thats right no fridge in rooms, they have ice machines on each floor. Free Wireless internet inroom, coffee making facilites in room. Very comfortable beds. Just ask anything else you want to know I will try answer.

Hmm, that's too bad. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was because of the fridge in the room.
This is what the website says:

* Refrigerator

Well, we'll see about that when we get there and maybe we'll ask for one :)

I just came home from a stay at the Courtyard (Thursday Night) and this is one hotel I would go back to. We had a Jr Suite and loved it. That is a bedroom with two double beds, bathroom and a living room/kitchen and had plenty of room. We did have a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The room was kept very clean by housekeeping and the staff is the best for quick service and very friendly. We stayed for 8 nights and would like to have stayed longer. You can find pictures on the web-site for the Marriott Courtyard. Have a great stay, I don't think you will be sorry for your choice.

Sorry, if you have booked a suite then yes I believe as Katz says there is a fridge, we stayed in a std room not a suite there are no fridges in std rooms.
If you have booked a std room they will offer you a suite at checkin, if they have some available, I think they wanted $20/night to upgrade last August.
We loved the hotel room and l believe the best location possible for a stay in Orlando.

Well you have to book the suite to get the kitchen.

It does have a frigde (I have stayed in the suite)

Ah, OK :)

Well, I saw someone on tripadvisor stayed in a regular room and requested a fridge and she got one for free, so I'll try that :)

I'm going to kick this topic for the people who are going to this wonderful hotel.

We asked for a fridge at the front desk when we arrived. There weren't any fridges available at that time, but they promised to get one for us asap. When we arrived home from our first Disney day the next day, we had a fridge in our room. We had it for 11 nights and it was free of charge!

So, if you want a fridge, just ask! There are fridges for free, they're just not in the rooms :)
