Are they different depending upon the type and date of booking? Or maybe how full the ship is? I just assumed that they were all 3 days (don't ask me why, and you know what they say about people who assume :)).

When my TA got me a room yesterday on one of the new itineraries (9-night Alaska!!), she told me the deposit was due at 5 p.m. today. I actually made it yesterday, but it got me thinking. Is it shorter for those booking on the first 2 days prices are released? Is it shorter because I was using a placeholder?

Curious.

I actually thought all holds were 24 hours which would probably be right for this one. Maybe it depends on who the hold is with?

It may be that the deposit is due to Disney on Saturday. So, your TA asks you for it Friday, so they can forward to Disney on Saturday.

That's what I was thinking. Holds are usually for 3 days. If you don't pay by the third day, it's cancelled.

I had 2 holds and they both expire at 11:59pm on the 3rd day if a deposit isn't made.
I feel bad about the one sitting till tomorrow night, maybe the phone lines are normal again today and I can call.
