Coupons ROCK!

I'm going to make a habit of using coupons at every grocery visit. I saved a ton of money today ($83.56 to be exact), using price plus card along with store and manufacturers coupons. Some highlights:

2 packs of 36 diapers in each Huggies Little Snugglers - Regular Price (RP) $11.29 each, Price Plus (PP) $8.99 each, Manufacturers Coupons (MC) $2.00 off and a buy one get one free.... Grand Total ***drum roll*** $6.99 for 2 packs.

2 packs Mentos Sugar Free Gum - RP $1.49, PP $.99, 2 double MC $2.00 = FREE

$5 off $40 or more coupon

and tons more!!!! I must have handed in 20 MC and 5 other coupons on items already on sale. What a rush!

Plus- I earned enough Baby Bucks to get $10 off my next shopping order over $50, and I qualified for a store promotion and will get 10% off my next shopping order! WOW!!!

I got a lot of ideas too over the last week or so from the budget board.... Thanks DIS friends!

I couldn't agree more!! I Love coupons and use them all the time!! We have saved so much money thanks to coupons! A couple of weeks ago, we got $123.xx worth of fresh cut meat for $42.xx thanks to store coupons and Manufacturer coupons! I love saving money and with food being so expensive lately, every little bit helps!!

I showed my husband the CVS scanner the other day.

He said, "You mean you just walk in, scan your card, and get $5 off coupons?" I said yes and he was floored. He now gets it, although he is KING of carwash coupons and grocery store coupons.

I love coupons too! Today I went to the grocery store and the total came to $90 and after coupons, it was $53!!!

Very few items come into our home that were bought without a coupon or rebate. The rest of the items were on sale.

We actually get excited to receive our mail daily to see what coupons are coming next. Today we received a $3 beer rebate check and 20% off everything at Kohls. Yesterday was a $25 beer rebate check, and I have never drank a beer in my life.

Where are you getting your coupons? I want to start using them and the only place I know is the sunday paper, which I don't subscribe. Are there other sources you can suggest?

I get my coupons from the Sunday Inserts, coupon trains, trading and store coupons! Store coupons are the best for me because I save the most money with them!
