OK, and I just have to comment about the lady with her kid in a dumpster looking for coupons? Really? She IS the Krazy Coupon lady...no way would I have my baby in the dumpster.

I saw this previewed the other day but didn't realize it would be about crazy people! Geez - makes us couponers look bad - I'm pretty happy with my 40-50% savings.

Dumpster diving for coupons with a small child is not my idea of being budget minded. There must be other ways to obtain coupons or go without your child. I understand how this became an obsession, but this is not a healthy pastime for the child. Another great tlc offering

My grandma lived through the depression and later could not stop stockpiling canned goods but this was in a small pantry, not an entire garage full.

I applaud anyone who takes the time to coupon, but not at the expense of health and safety. Just my opinion.

As a family who has to continuously watch what we spend on groceries, etc. I would love to find out how to coupon to the fullest. We do not have local stores that double coupons, etc.

So, to the stock piling....I would do so, for say a month or two worth of stuff for security.

I used to do that. Twice I got more than 1,000 in a day of free stuff. I used to average about $300 of free stuff a week. Then I would have a yard sale once a month to resell it. If was such fun but a full time job so I had to give it up, I casually coupon now but it can be done.

Oh I do stockpile. I haven't bought liquid hand soap for my bathroom, or dishwashing liquid for over a year. I haven't paid for razors for a year. Etc., etc. I don't think people are crazy for stockpiling - just for diving in dumpsters!

I think most of the couponers shown are extreme and borderline hoarders. I also don't care for people who clear the shelves when they discover a freebie or another great deal. I thought this was frowned upon with couponers? When cvs had their great deals I used to coupon a lot more, now I just focus on groceries and toiletries. Who really needs 100 bottles of salad dressing? Donate it already!!!
