Don't think I checked in for May yet, been very busy working after school and weekends, but I have been receiving and sending.

Happy Mother's day to all!

Came home from our California vacation today; getting an envie ready for Mary for tomorrow.

WE ALL LOVED CARS LAND!!! It was crazy how you really felt like you were right there in the movie! I took insane pictures; I've been posting them to Facebook in small lots since there are so many. We were also in a photopass share where for 2 days so we got the + pass, so we got a couple of cool ride pics.

I got an envie from Rachel today too :)

I really liked Cars Land too. Didn't care for the long wait for the Racers, and the fastpass line was just as long to get the passes. LOL. It was fun though. Very cool with what they have done with the whole area.

We didn't realize that the fast pass machines didn't go on until after the park opened. We had EMH at 9 and went straight to RSR. The first day was when it was raining, so we think that kept the huge rush down and only waited about 10 minutes. The next day we did the same thing but the weather was nicer and our wait was closer to 30 minutes. We skipped getting fast passes altogether because DH (and I ) have a problem waiting in line to wait in line....

On a budget minded note, we used a few restaurant.com certificates in the area, like the Wolfgang Puck's at the Costa Mesa mall. I think I paid $3 for the certificate. We also got certificates for breakfast places in San Diego, and another place in Carlsbad that we used after Legoland.

Thank you for the extra coupons you sent this week! I just got them.
When we went to Cars Land, the park had just opened and we just started walking towards the Racers. So we are in line, then I had this genius idea since our wait was going to be about 40 minutes, I will go get us some fast passes for later. So I ask where the fast pass machines are and the guy laughs at me and says "it was that REALLY long line you passed on the way in". So I thought, whatever dude, I started walking back to get the fast passes, I see the machines, I see the line, no prob I think, I go around the corner and BAM the line goes for MILES, so I keep walking and turn another corner and BAM more miles of lines. I think the wait to get a fast pass was probably over an hour. No thanks. I find the rest of our group and tell them, enjoy this ride because it is the only time we will ride it. LOL.
