Target coupons
I have shopped at Target for many years now and love it. I have never had a problem combining Target coupons and manufacturer coupons, plus I have a Target Red Card and use the Cartwheel. I consistently save 35% of my total. The last two trips, the Target coupons will not scan. You would think I it would be the computer printed one but its the ones from the paper or that I receive in the mail from Target. Yesterday, I had two coupons (Target & Manu) for one item. The manufacturer one scanned but the Target one would not. First the cashier said what I had wasn't pictured on the coupon. The coupon read "any item" so I knew it didn't have to be. I also had the correct size. So she went to ask someone else and came back with "The price was recently reduced, so you can't use a coupon on it." What?!?! The regular shelf price was $1.97 (which is what showed on the register) and I had two coupons, $1 & .50 which would have made it .47, plus the extra 5% with the Red Card, but still. I just asked her to take the item off and give me back the coupon, I did have her take off the coupon that did scan.
Has anyone else had issues with the Target coupons since Target had a computer upgrade a few weeks ago?
