Has anyone here gotten the Free 12-pack from my coke rewards? I tried to use one at Winn Dixie tonight and it was refused. I had the same thing happen when I tried to use a free coupon from Lays. These coupons are obviously the real thing, yet the store won't accept them. I completely understand if it were internet printed, but these are mailed coupons.

Walmart, of course, will take them. I just have to be in the right frame of mind to brave WalMart. Even with it being more expensive, I prefer Winn Dixie or Target when I can get over there. It's all about keeping my sanity.

It wouldn't scan. The system kept saying invalid. The cashier called the manager, but Winn Dixie has a policy that if the coupon won't scan, they won't take it. A corporate policy. Just frustrating.

I have gotten 2 of them but I used both at Shoprite with no problem (I only used 1 each trip of course). Shoprite is my main store and I always know what cashiers to "avoid" because they over analyze all of my coupons. All 5-6 of them tops (usually)!

I know they are just doing their job but if I hand you 5 coupons at the start of our checkout journey together and YOU KNOW you are going to look at every item as you scan the coupon, why don't you just glance on the belt first. Sometimes this one lady wants me to hold up the product when she can't find it on the screen so then I have to go searching through my bags.

End rant.....

SCDisneyMom...your envie went out this morning! There are a few that expire on the 19th that I clipped together and stuck in the front of the envie. The rest should be good till at least the 31st. Next weeks envie will be delayed by a day. My wife and I fly out Wednesday for a quick adults only anniversary WDW vacation!! We come back Sunday evening, but won't be home till after 8. Between unpacking and getting the kids ready for bed and school I won't have time to clip any coupons Sunday night.

Ohhh I'm jealous! Hope you guys have a fun and safe trip! I got your envie in the mail today.

Three Cabs

I received two envies today. Thank you much.

Bad news is they got messed up in the sorter. One came in a plastic sleeve, but the other didn't. Interesting thing is the one in the plastic had my address, but the other one didn't have any of my information at all. I think they went by the return label and knew that they went together. I'm glad you put the Disney stickers on them, I think that helped keep them together. Just can't figure out why they didn't put them in the plastic sleeve together.

Happy Thursday to all! The weekend is fast approaching!

HMM, I did the same thing and it's amazing how many people don't clip any coupons out of them and say things like "Oh sure, I just throw them out every week." Don't they know they're throwing away money?!?! When they found out I send my expired coupons to soldiers' families overseas every month, they really appreciated that I was doing that and now seldom forget to bring me their inserts.

I had a PM from one of our train riders a day or so ago letting me know she didn't get the April and May newsletters from me and was a little worried she'd been forgotten. Someone was missing me and my newsletter!!?? Awesome! I wrote back explaining I sometimes felt like a broken record. Also how I could only send five PM's at a time so it was taking forever to send the newsletter out each month so I had decided to take a little break from monthly newsletters. Now she's only one out of about 80 train riders but I'm so glad to hear I was missed!!! Not sure if there will be a June newsletter or not. I'm thinking right now I might wait until fall and the return to school and the end of summer for the next one.
