No pepsi insert for me

Only one of my papers had it and surprisingly it was the small town paper.

I started doing something different to keep myself on track with food costs. I buy a gift card for a set amount on my rewards card. I transfer the amount from my checking to pay it off. I get the rewards points that way. When the amount is gone from the gift card then that is it for the month. Last month I had $28 left so that went into our vacation fund envelope. That is money that we won't miss but will make a big difference when we go on vacation.

Good morning! A huge envie is going out today to Mikkiwikki!

I send hubby out yesterday to get a paper and reminded him to check for coupons. Of course when he got home and I looked through the paper, there were no coupons and just inserts/advertisements. I went back to the convienent store and traded out for a coupon filled paper. They were nice about the exchange and commented that people steal coupons all the time.
