so I got the "Duration" paint. Supposedly it lasts longer than other paint...fingers crossed this is an investment in the future (not having to repaint again so soon)!

No painting for me, I'm hiring it out to a couple teachers. They're giving me a 10% discount for working in the same district as them. Yet MORE savings! Now if I could get them to give it to me in coupon form, I could count it on here...

Saved $70 at the grocery store today!!!

I originally went to the store thinking of only buying only chicken breast (on sale) but I had my binder with me and there were some great sales that I matched up with my coupons ---- got a few things free or nearly free and got some amazing prices on other stuff by using the coupons. Love it!!

My mom has limited mobility due to back problems so this is a great task to keep her busy for an hour or so, and she is amazed at the coupons that are sent to other areas of the country. (She about died when she saw the Trojan coupons.)

Birthdays are posted on page one in the first post and I've welcomed all our new riders to the train in our thread and that's about all I would have to say so I'm going to take this month off. It takes forever to send out a newsletter when you can only PM five people at a time so I admit I'm giving myself a little R&R. No, I really can stay quiet and this was not an April Fool's joke! Have a great Sunday!

For the last month I have been a coupon slackser when shopping. Due to a vacation and 3 of my 4 kids birthdays I have not been as much of a savvy coupon shopper. But the slacking ended this week. Yesterday I finally sorted my coupons and matche them to Safeway's in store coupons. In the end my grocery bill dropped significantly! Here's how I did:

Safeway:
Coupons- $87.28
Card savings- $46.02
Total- $133.30

Walmart:
$8.50

And this was with taking DH shopping.

No envie received from my buddy this week but I still have a nice envie for you going out tomorrow. I got 3 of each (RP, SS, and P/G) so there's lots of good stuff in there. I also got the BJs coupon booklet and a free 30 day pass so you can try them out (they take manufacturers coupons, too).
