BIG envie received today! Looks like the post office beat it up a bit --- thankfully, you use those envies that can't tear open or there would have been coupons everywhere! It arrived intact, just all smooshed and dirty (what DO those postal workers do with people's mail????)

Glad it arrived in one piece - thank goodness for Tyvek envies!

Just an FYI for those that shop at Lowes - if you use a Lowes store card (which is free, easy sign up), every purchase gets an add'l 5% off at the register. Or interest free 18 month financing for large purchases.

I've been shopping there for cleaning supplies every so often as certain things are comparably priced to other stores and with the 5% off and a coupon, you can get some nice deals.

DisneyWalle, I got your envie today. Well actually it was a plastic bag with fragments of an envie with coupons inside of it. It was accompanied by a letter from the PO saying they are sorry they damaged the envie...it looked like they put it in a blender There were lots of undamaged coupons in the bag so I think they all made it!

FYI - they also have a Target Red Debit Card and you still get the 5% off by using it. Just comes out of your checking like a regular debit card, great option if you don't want another credit card. not sure if there's any other offers you don't get with the debit card that you do get with the credit card though.

Yes, the cashier offered the debit card first, she said there wasn't any difference in the discount, but I refuse to have anything connected to my bank account.

Today between Save Mart, Safeway and Rite Aid I saved $93.26 in coupons alone! Not to mention what else I saved with sales and store incentives!!

If anyone has those "$1 off any POM product" coupon, my Safeway had the 8oz POM Pomegranate juice for 99 cents! I had 12 coupons, so I got them free and 12 cents off my shopping order!!!

I saved $13 yesterday at Walmart and the cashier decided to pick a fight with me over my coupons. then she went through all my bags to see if my coupons matched up. I wasent thrilled and she had a huge line at that point. It wasent my fault so i am not going to accept the blame for something so simple as using a coupons. i know I wont go in her line again plus it musta been old people day the place was a zoo! I thought of coming home and having a Beer but then remebered I quit drinking years ago..
Today i decided if I run the old people over with my SUV while they are still in the parking lot.then I can scoop up more sales while they are flipping around on the hot pavement in the parking lot. This of course is revenge for running over my ankles several times while I attempted to buy things that they will never use.

Sounds like the same beeootch I had a problem with at the Wal Mart near me. This one, though, was insisting I couldn't use the coupon when I clearly could use it. The cashier in your case could have easily looked on her screen to ensure you purchased the items you had coupons for rather than tearing through your bags.

I would complain to corporate. When I wrote them about the problem I had with the beeootch, I was contacted by corporate, regional, and local managers. They knew I was right, apologized, and sent me a gift card.

The grocery store where I shop at is great. I've only had 1 cashier that was less then stellar, but it had nothing to do with coupons, she just didn't like doing her job or bagging up groceries or talking to customers,lol. One time she rolled her eyes when I had a good size order.

I asked her if she needed me to get a manager over so she could ask for a break to wash her out her eyes since she APPARENTLY had something in them to be rolling them that much,lol.

The other cashiers for the most part are great when I have coupons and they will even tell me if I missed one on a product or something.

I so agree with NYCDiane, had your cashier had some sense, she could look on her monitor and see the products,etc. somehow common sense is not longer the norm, lol.
