We will hit the beautiful WDW welcome signs somewhere between 3-5 am Thursday morning.

When you get there between 3-5 in the morning, do you check in? Just curious. We will probably drive again in March, but I wasn't sure what time to leave. The last time we left at 5pm on Sat night and got to Disney around 11 on Sunday.

We will. Last time we got there at 8am and our room was ready. In the past we have gotten there and our room was not ready. If it is ready DH will take a nap because the does the last and longest leg of the drive. If not we will find a nice comfy chair to relax in until we can get breakfast and then hop the first bus to go do something until we are ready to drop. This will be the earliest we have ever been checking in.

Usually it is between 7-8 am and we have done really well checking in quickly and heading out to the parks, but that has been when we stopped somewhere along the way to sleep over. (Usually Lake City, FL- lots of great cheap hotels right near the Hwy.)

It occured to me today that really soon I will be breathing DISNEY AIR. I know you know what I mean. It is that smell that your suitcase holds for a little while after you get back. I can't explain it in any other way than it is DISNEY AIR. All of the worries about $ took a back seat as soon as I realized that. (Oh the little things.) I've had a pretty stressful first quarter at school, on top on $ issues, so I've decided that to continue being a good teacher and a good wife, I have to do this and have FUN.

As for the snow God Bless You. I could not do it! We get maybe 1-2 measurable snows each year (less than 2 inches usually in Jan./Feb.). Except about 10 years ago we had 2 blizzards back to back. It shut down things like you would not believe. I am happy with the 60-75 temps and four destinct season. We are just now changing foliage, by the time we get back the mountains will be beautiful.

Can't wait for my envie. I am sure it will be waiting for me when I get back.

We like stopping in Lake City also. We come along I10 so it is right at the bend/change in interstates for us.
