Glad you had such a great trip. I did well tonight also. I went to use some soon to expire coupons for things I knew we would use. Well they are calling for 4-12 inches of snow here and you would have thought it was Y2K all over again (milk, bread, eggs milk, bread, eggs!!!!!

) Everyone in the city and their relatives from out of state went to the Kroger that I usually go to. It was a MADHOUSE. They were restocking shelves and I had 3 people helping at checkout 1 unloaded my cart, 1 checked the order, and 1 bagged.
I was pretty happy with my purchases because after coupons, the store card, a $5 off when you spend $10 on certain items special, and 2 catalina coupons I got $101 of groceries for $53. (I love my coupon train!) The only things I got without a coupon were 2- 8pc deli baked Italian herb chickens that were marked down to $2.99 each. I think they were afraid that no one will be out tomorrow and they did not want them to sit in the deli case. I got the last 2 and the girl working the deli said she had never seen such craziness. She had just made the chickens and the manager told her to mark them down and not to make any more for the rest of the night.
I had Qs for $3 off of ground beef so I got a small pack for free, a free 2 ltr. Coke, free toilet paper, and dish washing liquid. I got a really good deal on cheese too. DH said, "We just went on our big monthly trek to the store where did we get money for all this?" After I gave him the breakdown he was

. He also said that maybe I should go alone more often. The problem with that is that he usually does the cooking through the week so he knows better than I do what we are close to being out of.

Glad you got them soon. You are really close and in-state, I am sure that helped.
OT- I just noticed that today is exactly 2 months until our next trip.

I need this trip more than I would have ever imagined when we made our reservations. I really need a Mickey fix.
