I was in my local CVS the other day. I was going to use a 3.00 off any Tide product coupon that I received from a Smith's (Kroger) coupon book. The coupon stated very clearly that it was a manufacturer's coupon. I know that grocery stores have sent out store coupons with mfg. coupons but this one was very much mfg. CVS refused it stating that a manufacturer will not pay the store for a mfg coupon unless it is redeemed at the original store. They also told me that they are only going to accept coupons from the paper only. I have used mfg coupons all over town for many years, even CVS. I have never once had a problem so here is my question... Is this only at my local CVS or is this a new trend with every store?
