For really short trips (like the 2 days after our cruise last May) we will do a studio. For everything else - give me that one bedroom. I like the fact that we can be in separate rooms as needed. I'm a morning person and DH likes to stay up and read. With the one bedroom we don't get in each others way.
Love the king size bed - I always sleep great in my DVC home!
Love the full kitchen. Not that I make that many meals, but it is nice to have pop, ice, water, snacks at your fingertips and nice to be able to bring a doggy bag back if we do go out for a big meal.
Adore the tub - have to have at least one good long soak per trip (maybe more).
Nice to have the washer and dryer as well. Helps me not overpack.

, 1 BR it is. But last year we went to Food and Wine Festival and other than going back late and collapsing in the room, I wouldn't have used the wonderful features of a 1 BR. We had NO intentions of cooking, it was a Fri-Sun trip so laundry wasn't an issue, no time for the tub, so we stayed in a studio. Plus it was a weekend so it saved some points that I banked to this year for a 2 BR to take the kids to BCV in June for 5 days.
I can't wait until April when I can go back, forget the diet, and chow down on a $100 meal (hey, my normal meal is $5 at Wendy's)
