If you book the couples massage and then on the cruise only one can go beacuase the little ones won't go in the clubs will they still charge for the couples massage?
The official cancellation policy is that you must cancel 24 hours ahead in order to avoid the penalty. If you're on a 7-night, book it for later in the cruise so you can see if they like the clubs...if not, you'll still have time to cancel.

They MIGHT, and keyword is might, let you cancel but you would have to book an excursion with similiar or greater price value. I don't know if this applies to the spa, though. We had a problem with an excursion, and had to cancel it within a few hours of going on it, and DCL let us cancel it but we had to book another excursion with a similar dollar value for later in the cruise. Call or email them, be forewarned though that the spa is run by an outside contractor.
Not to sound mean but my children had no choice. We told them the way it was going to be. We told them while the cruise was for them mommy and daddy would have to have some time alone. Just like we do at home. They were fine with it to some extent. Our children prefer to be with us verses a club but when they knew up front there would be no begging there was no issue. We allowed them to pick and chose what they wanted to do but they had to schedule around any spa or Palo time. Otherwise everything else we did was about them or for them.
