O.K., I think I'm ready to bid on Skyauction, but there's a couple of things I'm still not clear on. The first is the "taxes and service fees". This wording is really ambiguous IMO. Does that mean taxes plus a service fee of $195 are due on resort auctions, or does it mean that all taxes are included in the $195 service fee? I sure hope so! Second ? is about the RSG auctions. The way I understand it, you can win the auction now, but you don't have to decide on a place/date until one comes up that you want. Is that correct? What happens if nothing comes up for the dates that you want? What if something comes up for your dates but it's just not what you want - for instance, you need a 2-bedroom and all that comes up are 1-bedrooms. Do you have to take it anyway? And speaking of 2-bedroom units, how often do they come up on the RSG auctions? All I'm seeing is 1-bedroom units and most of those seem to have only partial kitchens. Just how choosy are you allowed to be? And will they refund your money if you can't find anything? Hope some of you Skyauction veterans can help me with this. TIA.

I can help with a few of your questions,

You pay : Your bid amount + $195 +$15

example: Your winning bid is $50, then you pay $50 + $195 + 15 = $260

RSG auctions can be won and then used at a later time. Just make sure you use it by the expiration date. Once you see something you like put it on reserve and e-mail SkyAuction. I just did this and it worked great. As for the two bedroom units, recently I have found that the they rarely come up at the newer resorts. There are a couple of the older resorts that have the two bedrooms often (Orbit One). If nothing seems to be coming up in the inventory that fits your needs, SkyAuction will let you put the money you used for your RSG auction towards the bidding of another auction. I am not sure about a refund. We just stayed at Vacation Village at Parkway (unit-A full kitchen) and thought it was great.
