Couple Of Questions??

I JUST MADE A RES. For January 8th until the 14th. However no availability for the night of the 8th for a 2BR villa. So I waitlisted for the night of the 8th. What are the chances of this waitlist coming thru?

Second question:

I have a reservation on another contract from the 4th until the 8th. If and when the night of the 8th comes thru, Can I link those two res. eventhough they are from different contracts??

Sometimes I book a stay at 11 months and then at 7 months I add on with other resort points. They can't both come under the same reservation number, but they are linked so we don't have to move. So that should be fine.

The 8th of January is a very busy day...there are other members here on waitlists. It's during or the start of the marathon.

What resort and room category are you waitlisting for? For example, if it's Boardwalk view at the BWV, your chances are a lot less than if it's for a 2 bedroom at SSR.

As long as the reservations are for the same resort and the exact same thing (same room size, same view category if there is one, and same room type if there is one), then yes, the reservations can be linked. Doesn't matter if they came from different contracts or even completely different members.

That weekend (1/8/09 - 1/12/09) is marathon weekend and quite popular. It could be a challenge to get that Thursday night no matter where it is. Good luck!

Due to the location, both BCV & BWV are quite popular for marathon time.

But assuming you are waitlisted for the PV-Pool/Garden view, and because you only want the one night, I think you have a pretty good chance of getting it.
