Does anyone know how to get a character wake-up call? The last time we requested a wake up call it was just an automated system (no characters).

Also, does anyone know if Disney still put balloons and card signed by a character for kids in our room for their birthdays?

Thanks

Last time I was there the only wake-up call option was for a character to call (Stitch). You set it up through the resort phone. There was no choice to pick a character - every morning it was same (or was that coincidental?).

:confused3 It used to be Mickey and now it's Stitch. Some people hate the so called Stitch invasion. I'll admit, I wasn't crazy about seeing him everywhere but I do like the little guy and the wake up call leaves me with a sleepy smile on my face.:stitch2: :coffee: :stitch:

Things are pretty different now. We have been going to DW since my twin daughters were 5, they are 22 now. We always go in November for their birthday and SSW every year. Some of the years were so special. One time at the Contemporary they actually set up 2 tables with linens and 2 birthday cakes. We were amazed. One time they left me a candle when we went in September for my birthday. Every year they would leave something for the girls, i.e. cards, stuffed animals, etc. We haven't received anything in at least 5 years but they are all grown up now so I don't even tell them it's their birthday when making ressies. I am not complaining because we ALWAYS appreciated anything they did for us. If you want something special, I would order it and they will make sure it's in the room when you arrive.:goodvibes

(We haven't had a wake up call in years so I don't know the answer to your other question).
