just upgraded us to first class, having a disabled mum, and autistic son, the quiteness would be better.
so whats the deal with first class, whats included? also just booked a seat for my son too, think he would be much happier and comfortable in his own seat rather than my knee.
so since ive booked 3 seats, is it likely we will get a table? dont want to be sitting apart on those airline style seating, would like a table so my wee one can draw etc

thanks for any help in advance

Hi there

From memory, if you call the Eurostar Reservations team, you can usually book your exact seats at the time of booking/as soon as you want to. That's for anyone but considering you are travelling with a child with Autism, I would think they'll do everything they can to accommodate your needs.

Good luck, have a fab time!

I've not travelled in standard class so can't compare.

But the seats are big and nice, every seat has a table.

You get airplane type food.

Also each time we've been to DLRP we've had the carriage pretty much to ourselves!

Who have you booked with? I've always booked with Eurostar direct and known our carriage/seat numbers straight away.

Sorry, I don't know as I've always booked independently. I'd give Disney a ring and explain about your mum and your son and see if they are able to help first.

Hi.

On a side note, has anyone upgraded on the day of travel and got a better price?. I am thinking of doing it and may try leaving it till i arrive to see if i might get a better deal.

Every time we've been first class the carriage has had at most a couple of families with stacks of room.

The two big advantages for us (we are a family of six) are:

- lots of space in the luggage racks for our suitcases
- you get a steward who helps you on/off with your luggage and makes sure the train doesn't leave Ashford whilst you are still loading/unloading :)

I don't think Eurostar work like the airlines, in that they very rarely if at all overbook the seats, so the chances of getting a better price are slim

ive booked with disney. would i be able to call eurostar and arrange that, even though i booked with disney?

Hi there,

Yes I am sure you can speak to Eurostar directly about this. This is their customer care page, you can e-mail them or call them and just let them know your name and travel dates, say you've booked through Disney, they should be able to find your reservation and help you.

Yeah i thought as much tennis, but as has been said most of the time (moreso in winter) the leisure select are empty, i know coming back in 08 we went leisure select and it was empty.

Just thought i might try and be cheeky and ask over counter if they might do a deal to go leisure select on the day of travel.
