Couple of DVC related DCL questions.

Should I mention to DCL that we're DVC (even if not staying on points)?

Thought I read something about diners being grouped?

If we decide to use DCL transport to ship, do we & our luggage have to get to a non-DVC resort for pick-up?

Have to , got upgraded from Cat 11 to an 8 yesterday.

We went on a Disney Cruise two weeks ago using the Disney transporation to the ship. We were picked up at Old Key West. We were told that they pick up at all the DVC locations now--but I don't know that as an absolute fact. They definitely pick up and return to OKW though. We just brought our luggage up to the main area, and it was loaded underneath the bus. Hope this answers one of your questions.
