Country Inn & Suites Newark Airport

Has anyone stayed here lately. I understand its a new hotel and its supposed to be pretty nice. I got a good rate through AAA ($104) for an overnight stay, its a little more than I wanted to spend, but, the Ramada really didn't seem to get very good reviews, specially about the surrounding neighborhood, since I'm a woman going alone, I'm kind of apprehensive about staying there. Is the location of CIS any better than Ramada? We are coming in from I-78 (from NE PA), will it be very hard to find? My daughter is driving and she's not very good with directions. I thought of her just leaving me at the airport and calling the hotel shuttle, does that sound like the best way to go? Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated. TIA!
