I feel lucky and blessed every day to still have my grandmother around. She is almost 90 years old and in good health. There are four generations in our house, my grandmother, my mom, me (DH of course) and our son. I don't think you can be much more blessed then to have your entire family with you each day. Just thinking Thanksgiving thoughts and counting my blessings.

Indeed, count your blessings!

It's not everyday that you see 4 generations living together peacefully!

You know what you need to do, get a family portrait taken for the holidays!

Havae the picture taken for sure. We had a four generation picture taken of my mom, grandmother, daughter and myself. Now that my grandmother has passed, it is such a treasure.

This year I am profoundly thankful for the healing of my father over these past 5 weeks. I am thankful for the fact that when we told he would not survive, he surprised them all and came home last Friday.

And I am also thankful for my mother's unwavering faith through his illness. It has taught me a wonderful lesson.

I am also thankful for my wonderful husband and daughter..

I am truly blessed.

Thanks for starting this wonderful thread, Beth.

We do need a picture (although I hate taking pictures:) ) I guess what brought this up is we spent the morning in the Drs. office with my grandmother. She was coughing and all she would say is "Yall are making to much of a fuss I'm fine" Well turns out she has bronchitus (no phnemonia (sp?) thankfully. She is on no medication, her blood pressure is 100% normal. She is so funny. She told the Dr. that she knew those gowns had been around since she was born and she had no idea why they would want her to show her butt:) :) :) :) :)

I'm also thankful that my mother is in such wonderful health...she is 60 and rode Tower of Terror, The Hulk and Dueling Dragons.

I'm thankful that my DH and my mother get along so well. They have never in the almost 14 years John and I have been together said one negative thing to each other.

I'm thankful that DH and I have a wonderful marriage and a beautiful son. (and hes sitting here reading this...I didn't know he was and he said "we do" there is no one else in the world I would want to spend my life with!) Okay group AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!

And I'm thankful for my friends that I have made here and other places online.

That is so wonderful! I would give anything to have just one more day with my daddy!

Wow, 4 generations! That is awesome, Beauty. Yes, you are definately blessed.

I'm thankful that I had two great parents, even if they did die way too young. And wonderful grandparents, even the mean old bat who is still alive. She's wacky and eccentric, but I love her just the same.

And it goes without saying I'm thankful for my husband and my kids, I often wonder how I got so lucky. :)

Even though I don't have my Mom and Dad anymore, I do have an amazing family. We all love each other so much and would do anything for each other. Seeing other families that are so far apart, or really don't care for each other, I realize just how lucky I am to have 7 great brothers and 1 fabulous sister. We are as close as we were when we were kids, which is rare in today's world.

This is such a nice thread Beauty.

I'm thankful everyday that I have such great parents. I don't know what I would do without my mom. She is the one person that never critisizes anything and is always accepting and supportive of any decisions I make.

I'm also thankful for my wonderful DH and my DS. They bring me constant joy. :)
