Counter Service Sides?

I understand that with the dining plan you get a combo meal, dessert and drink. Do you get a side like fries or salad if you just get a sandwich, dessert and drink?

Most of the counter service places serve combo meals, so your side is already included. After looking over the menus, I really didn't see any instances where a CS meal wasn't a combo.

I was thinking at places like Earl of Sandwich where you just order a sandwich.
