DW & myself ate at several places on our recent trip. I'll cover the Theme Park counter service this time. We shared all meals.

Magic Kingdom
Casey's: very good hot dog as always-B+

Pecos Bill: very good burger & great toppings bar, chocolate cream pie very good, too. Extremely crowded the day we stopped. B+

El Pirata: Excellent tacos (we had these twice). They no longer serve the great loaded nachos they used to have. A

Cosmic Ray's: stack sandwich & cream of chicken soup. Very good toppings bar. We always look forward to this meal. A

Animal Kingdom
Flame Tree: Had some onion rings with great seating down by the water. Very good, but a little too greasy for my stomach. B

Tusker House: Rotis. Chicken with grilled veggies & garlic mashed potatoes. Extra side of the veggies for DW, carrot cake for dessert. Probably our favorite meal at WDW. Everything delicious! We had this meal twice during our trip. A+

Epcot
Electric Umbrella: Oven baked roast beef with provolone, bacon & a tasty mayo, allowed us to substitute fries for the coleslaw. We weren't expecting much & this was a pleasant surprise. Very good. B+ Chicken tenders on another stop here-always good B+

Land Food Court: Bacon & Cheddar/side salad/cookie combo. We always like this one & also feel it's a good bargain at around $6.25. B+

Liberty Inn: We went here because Sommerfest in Germany no longer has their excellent ham sandwich on pretzel bread on the menu!! We got the turkey club & found in pretty bland. C. Also got the child's hot dog with fries which we enjoyed. B

Studios

No actual counter service here but we did go to the Tune-In Lounge at the Prime Time Cafe. We ordered chili cheese fries & smores at the bar & sat on a couch watching the old sitcoms. The fries were excellent-A+. The smores were very good, too, but extremely sweet-B. Even though we only had a diet coke to drink, the bartender was very friendly & was great about getting us extra plates, napkins, etc. The food arrived within 15 minutes. We will be stopping here again!

Hope this wasn't too long--part 2 to come later.

thanks for the reviews.

Where exactly is the El Pirata located and what do they charge for the tacos?

I'm so glad to hear that El Pirata is open again. It's not that the food is so overwhelmingly good, we just always enjoyed having a bite there and missed it. Plus, it just looked so gloomy all closed up.

Thanks for the reviews! We plan to eat a lot of counter service next trip, so the reviews were very helpful. :D

El Pirata is in the other half of the same building as Pecos Bill's, across from Pirates of the Caribbean. According to the menu on Deb Wills' site, the tacos are $4.79 for two tacos.

Great reviews ~ Thanx for sharing.
