DW & myself ate at several places on our recent trip. I'll cover the Theme Park counter service this time. We shared all meals.
Magic Kingdom
Casey's: very good hot dog as always-B+
Pecos Bill: very good burger & great toppings bar, chocolate cream pie very good, too. Extremely crowded the day we stopped. B+
El Pirata: Excellent tacos (we had these twice). They no longer serve the great loaded nachos they used to have. A
Cosmic Ray's: stack sandwich & cream of chicken soup. Very good toppings bar. We always look forward to this meal. A
Animal Kingdom
Flame Tree: Had some onion rings with great seating down by the water. Very good, but a little too greasy for my stomach. B
Tusker House: Rotis. Chicken with grilled veggies & garlic mashed potatoes. Extra side of the veggies for DW, carrot cake for dessert. Probably our favorite meal at WDW. Everything delicious! We had this meal twice during our trip. A+
Epcot
Electric Umbrella: Oven baked roast beef with provolone, bacon & a tasty mayo, allowed us to substitute fries for the coleslaw. We weren't expecting much & this was a pleasant surprise. Very good. B+ Chicken tenders on another stop here-always good B+
Land Food Court: Bacon & Cheddar/side salad/cookie combo. We always like this one & also feel it's a good bargain at around $6.25. B+
Liberty Inn: We went here because Sommerfest in Germany no longer has their excellent ham sandwich on pretzel bread on the menu!! We got the turkey club & found in pretty bland. C. Also got the child's hot dog with fries which we enjoyed. B
Studios
No actual counter service here but we did go to the Tune-In Lounge at the Prime Time Cafe. We ordered chili cheese fries & smores at the bar & sat on a couch watching the old sitcoms. The fries were excellent-A+. The smores were very good, too, but extremely sweet-B. Even though we only had a diet coke to drink, the bartender was very friendly & was great about getting us extra plates, napkins, etc. The food arrived within 15 minutes. We will be stopping here again!
Hope this wasn't too long--part 2 to come later.
