>>>> Columbia Harbor House. Great place to eat. They have sandwiches, fish, chowder, shrimp, and salads. I got the fish&fries ($7.52) very good! Crispy, fresh, filling. My boyfriend got the shrimp platter that came with fries and coleslaw. ($10.27) It was better than mine! Delcious, and great view of Haunted Mansion. I read someones advice about eating on the 2nd floor. GREAT ADVICE! I think some people don't know they're allowed up there so that was great :) And good fixings bar. My boyfriend loves the malt vinegar. I,however must have put to much on bcz i HATED IT!!

>>>>Mission space/Cargo bay. This is the gift shop that you exit afte coming out of Mission Space. My bf and i had never tried that Freeze-dried space ice cream so we got the chocolate with chocolate chips flavor. ($5.28). It's really unusual! It's like a small, thick block and has a steirofoam consitency/feel. It melts in your mouth and has a strong flavor! Bhimal LOOOOVED IT. He bought some for the ride home.

>>>>Main street bakery. MMMMM a must-do for breakfast! Fresh, delish, foods! I got the chocolate muffin with chocolate chips and powdered sugar on top. It was great. I expected it to be stale. It was very cake like, and mmmm :) Bhimal got the breakfast crossiant with ham, egg, and cheese. It was yuuummmmmm! We got orange juice and chocolate nesquick to drink (It came to $13 something,i lost this reciept). Im deff. going back for the HUGE cinnamon buns i saw! You stand in a line and they get you what you want along the way, but i didn't see them until the end and id already gotten my muffin. Limited seating!!!

Wow, great counter service reviews. I can't wait to try a cinnamon bun at Main Street Bakery, although that muffin looked pretty good too :)

Those shrimp look wonderful!! I really want to try somewhere new in the MK for lunch! I think I might have found a winner!!!

I didn't realize that CHH had shrimp. Thanks for the great reviews.

OMG!!

Columbia Harbor House used to have shrimp when I was a child and my parents used to RAVE about how good they were! Woohoo! We will totally be hitting CHH this coming trip (in 3 days!) to try these :goodvibes

i got it on 7/19 it was AMAZING!!!!!!!!! I think it's a special, not perminent. IT WAS AWESOME

I hope they (the shrimp dinners) stick around for a while! They used to be my favorite thing way back when at CHH, and I've missed them.

Thanks for posting, sounds like you found some really yummy things to eat! :goodvibes

Hi -

Where did you get the frozen banana? I haven't had one since I was a kid and I'd love to get one!

$5.28 for one package of astronaut ice cream?! Or did you each get your own?

I remember I used to be outraged when you had to pay $2.50 in a museum gift shop for the stuff... You do have to try it if you've never had it before. In Washington DC at the space museum a few years back, I got to try a lot of "space food" ... I remember astronaut fries (kinda like a drier version of those Mickey D's hashbrowns) and astronaut strawberries (which were fabulously sweet and flavorful, yet with very similar consistency to the astronaut ice cream). I don't know if I'd get the stuff again though, except to let my kids try it. Now though, I think $2.50 would be a reasonable price to try any one of these astronaut foods.
