DD and myself will be going to WDW next June :cheer2: :cool1: and will be using mostly CS locations when we eat. Last time we went to WDW we didn't eat all that much in the parks so I don't know what the really good and bad CS resturants are.

What are the CS locations that you found were so bad you will never return again?

What are the CS locations that you absolutley love?

TIA

Best: Tangierine Cafe in EPCOT-Morocco
Worst: Lotus Blossom Cafe in EPCOT-China

In spite of negative commentary here, we went to ABC Comissary a few years back.

It was really horrible!

So, silly DIS'er that I am, I decided we should be "fair" and give it another shot this past trip.

It is STILL really horrible. But very crowded when we went. Likely because of a CS shortage at MGM!!!!;)

Pinocchio's Village Haus. It's a total mad house and the food is awful

My favorite - Cosmic Ray's in MK
My DS7 favorite - Pizza Planet in MGM

Both are an excellent value for your money.

Personnaly, the one I didn't like was Pecos Bill Cafe but I have seen other DISers post good reviews about it. Maybe, it was because I ate at Cosmic Ray's 1st so I was comparing it to that QS restaurant.

LOVE - WPE in DTD
Peco Bills and Cosmic Rays in MK
Flame Tree in AK
Germany, China, Sunshine Seasons, Morocco in Epcot

HATE - ABC Commissary in MGM
Japan and Mexico in Epcot, can you say fatty, grisly chicken thigh meat???

Cannot stand Flame Tree in AK, ABC Commissary in MGM and the noodle station in MK.

The rest for us would be based on what you like and don't like in foods.

I was in a bookstore yesterday and leafed through the Passporter's guide. Their restaurant ratings include two in house views and a people's consensus. ABC Commissary had a pretty good review from both in house people.

People's views vary due to tastes and their particular service. For example, I like Pinocchio's Village Haus. It is usually very crowded as mentioned above. But they have an anti-pasto salad that is, for me, a refreshing change from the normal fare. I like Pecos Bill's in MK and Cosmic Ray's has a wide variety of choices that makes it a good stop for people with varying tastes. You don't mention how old your daughter is but Ray's has three separate service areas depending on what type of food you want which makes it less convenient for the wide variety if your DD is very young.

In Epcot I like the Sunshine Seasons are. Again a wide variety of food at different counters and a more tempting fare. I also like the CS for Mexico. The food is not spectacular but the view is good if it's not too crowded. MGM doesn't offer a great deal of good places. This summer we ate at Backlot Express and Pizza Planet. Both were just ok.

We ate at ABC Commisary and loved it. We were there right when they opened for lunch and the kids got to eat with chopsticks so it was a blast for them.

We hated the CS in Morrocco.

I agree, nothing good in MGM, especially ABC. My fav in the parks is Pizzafari, and my fav on property is Pepper Market, even though it is confusing.

Oh yeah, Electric umbrella too, avoid that at all costs, it is in Epcot, but tastes the exact same as ABC

During our last trip (9/22-9/29) we thoroughly enjoyed the following CS restaurants:

Casey's Corner @ MK (I'm a sucker for mini-corndogs!!)
FlameTree BBQ @ AK (long lines - but chicken, ribs & keylime pie were worth the wait!)
Sunshine Seasons @ EPCOT (SO much to choose from - not just burgers and dogs)
Cosmic Rays @ MK (a great diverse menu!)

We have yet to find a horrible CS in WDW. We tried the ABC Commissary last year and it was good. Not great by any means, but good. I'd go there again.

We like it all, but our favorites are:
Tangierine Cafe in Morocco
Cosmic Ray's
Cooke's of Dublin(DtD)
Flame Tree in AK

Goodness Lord!! How could I forget Sunshine Seasons! We ALL love it here. Love it, Love it!!

Otherwise, we really like the food at WDW and have nothing to complain about.:)

My very favorite CS is the fish-&-chips place at the UK pavillion in Epcot. YUM!!
