Counter Service Question

Hi... Im killing time during this last LOOOOONG week before my trip reading Counter Service menus for different places to try during this trip.

How is Flatbread Grill (formerly Studio Catering Company) in MGM? And where is this located?

Any suggestions for good Counter Service places in Animal Kingdom also? Our favorite was always Tusker House and we're bummed that it's gone now.
So now we need a replacement place to grab a quick bite.

We like the Flatbread Grill. We eat at least one salad every day and their greek salad is on the "lets-do" list. The other things I've seen from there look quite good too and our niece liked the flatbread chicken sandwich (hope I'm remembering correctly) in March (she's 21).

The Flatbread Grill is between the Honey I Shrunk the Whatever Playground and the entrance to the Backlot Tour.

Animal Kingdom -- sorry don't have much to say about there. We've only eaten at Tusker House (breakfasts) and Flame Tree Barbecue (early lunches). We like Flame Tree just fine... frankly, we're not in AK long enough to really NEED food other than breakfast.

BTW: Question, if Tusker House isn't open for breakfast, does that mean you can get breakfast at Flame Tree in the interim?

Flame Tree BBQ at Animal Kingdom. Good food and the kids meals are great. But the best thing is the seating area. Down by the water and enough rom for kids to run around. Lots of nature with Ibises and ducks. Just don't have the kids run around and chase the nature.

Basically since Tusker House is gone in Animal Kingdom your left with Flametree BBQ, Pizzafari, and Resturantasuarus (SP?).

I am going to be in the world in 4 days and my plan is go over to the AKL and get lunch at the Mara. I want to check out the hotel anyways. And I've heard its only like a 5 min bus ride.
