I need some suggestions. Where is your favorite counter service meal. It will be two adults and two four year olds. I am sure we will do the sandwhich and fry thing a couple of times but I want something a little more filling too. Give me your favorites!!! Thanks SO much!!!

Pop over onto the Restaurants board. This question is asked at least a few times every week and usually generates a good response. Like anything else, it is down to personal choices and preferences, but I can assure you, you will be able to make a decision based on all points of view - just don't let it make you confused.

Keep in mind the type of food you do/don't like and sift through the posts accordingly. Have fun!

Last trip we went we only ate a burger/fries one time-and that was at Sci-Fi Diner, LOL.

here are some of our faves;

MK-Columbia Harbour House
AK-Flametree BBQ
EPCOT-Sunshine Seasons, there are LOTS of places in the world showcase
DHS-we had good luck at the commissary-but I have heard/read lots of negative reviews since we ate there

Cosmic Rays at MK. I loved the grilled chicken platter.

Epcot - lots of places in World Showcase. The kids liked the Cantina in Mexico and they also liked Sunshine Seasons.

AK - Yak and Yeti Counter service I forget what it's called but it begins with an A. Maybe someone else will remember.

DHS - I don't have one yet but I'm still looking. LOL

Epcot - has a huge food court in The Land (near Soarin) and they have tons of options - salads, sandwiches, pastas, I think I remember sushi. We always go there and last time there were 11 of us traveling together, we all found something we like.

picnic in the park at AK

Mexico and Morroco at EPCOT

second the Morroco at Epcot. Think it is called Tangerine Cafe. It is right out front. Very nice combination platter.

I hit the Sunshine seasons food court in the Land at Epcot for wonderful desserts (as breakfast or a snack)

MK - Cosmic Ray's or Pecos Bill's
EP - Sunshine Seasons or Electric Umbrella
AK - Pizzafari
DHS - Backlot Express

MK - Pecos Bills (love the bbq sandwich!), Pinocchio Village Haus (pizza combo was enough for DH and I to share!).
AK - Pizzafari (again with the pizza combo), Flame Tree BBQ
DHS - Toy Story Pizza Planet, Backlot Express, Studio Catering Company (has that yummy bbq sandwich!)
Epcot - American Adventure (my DH LOVES the burgers there-not sure they're different from any others, but he insists on eating there).

Half rack of ribs at Cosmic Rays's. My DS loves ribs. He's 7 and can put a half rack away himself.

MK - Pinochio Village Haus - My DH and I liked the salad with chicken. It was great! My DD loved the mac and cheese and my DS liked it too. I think he got pizza.

MK - Pecos Bill - it really did meet all the hype. The toppings bar was great and there was lots of choices for entrees.

If you are staying at CSR (Coronado Springs Resort) you can get a fantastic CS meal (offered at dinner only) steak, baked potatoes or mashed or fries, along with desert and I think another veggie or bread all for one CS credit.

CSR also has fajitas (spelling) that looked and smelled great for a CS credit too - along with sides.

CSR was by far our best CS meals anywhere!

Hands down fav is wolfgang puck express in DTD, either one !!

Other favs -
MK - Cosmic Rays & columbia harbor house
Epcot - mexico, UK and Japan as well as the food court in the Land pavilion
AK- flame tree
MGM - none unfortunately

You can find lots of quick serve food other than burgers so don't worry. All the menus are also online so you can find what you like in advance at the allears website.

Our favorite CS meal was at DTD at Wolfgang Puck Cafe. We actually ate there twice. Epcot also a lot of choices in the World Showcase.

Cosmic Ray's at MK - we get the 1/2 rotisserie chicken dinner and one adult and one child usually split it. Also did Flame Tree BBQ at AK for the first time and it was great, except for the ducks walking around your feet in the seating area.
