we are looking for some new counter service places to try.. we like flame tree and wolfgang puck express. but want to add a few new places, we have a car and can travel to any resort. We are not looking for standard, hamburger, pizza etc, we want something different...any suggestions (nothing in EPCOT, we are already familiar with those ;) )

OK I am amending this EPCOT TOO!!! just when you think you know your favorite park.... surprise!

Earl of Sandwich is different. Pecos Bill's at MK has a few different offerings. Mara at AKL has a few different choices.

Oh, DH would never forgive me if we didn't include earl!

Any others

Columbia Harbor House!(I never thought I would look forward to a tuna sandwich on vacation but I do!)

Yakitori House, El Pirata y el Perico, Cantina de San Angel, and Cosmic Rays has a wide variety.

MK-
Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station. We were pleasantly surprised with this place. Not gourmet , but a very nice change from burgers/fries etc...
Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe. Meals big enough to share.
The Lunching Pad. Turkey legs. What can I say. Grab a frozen coke and it's pure heaven!
El Pirata Y el Perico. Again, a nice alternative to burgers/fries.

JMO-RUN AWAY from Pecos Bills!!!!!

MGM (Hollywood Studios)-
ABC Commissary
Rosies All American. I know it's burgers, but they have an awesome veggie burger :goodvibes
Pizza Planet. MUCH improved over our first visit.

Epcot-
Yakitori House. Our usual lunch spot.

AK-
Slim pickins.....

We're in love with the Figaro Fries at Pinocchio's Village Haus. We get one sandwich and an order of Figaro fries (with two drinks) and have a wonderful lunch. The turkey sandwich there is very good.

I LOVE Columbia Harbor House in MK! We ate there twice on our last trip. They do have the standard chicken fingers & fries for the kids but they have an icredible tuna sandwich, and really good clam chowder as well. It's a hidden gem - there is a ton of seating upstairs, but most people don't even realize it's there. From a window table you can watch the 3pm parade, the Steam Boat & Haunted Mansion.

We like the CHH as well. The kids love the Chicken fingers and I love the fish. Very big place too, almost always a place to sit down, even if you have to go upstairs.

We love CHH too! DH loves the fish and we always sit on the extented part upstairs and people watch. It's quiet enough where you can actually hear the music and it's very relaxing. Thank you KTTK for introducing us there!

Tangerine in Morroco, it is our favorite CS! Food is great and the portions are huge!

WOW!!! thanks for all the great onfo..
I am amazed that we never even realized CHH existed!!! I am... ashamed ... :( ...
:) That is exactly what I am looking for.. you all have mentioned places that I never knew existed because we have gotten "stuck" in a rountine..

We will be there for at least 17 days, so please keep the ideas coming

Hey Pat Fan .. neighbor.. Yakatori is on our list now also... and I don't do red meat ( the rest of the family does) so the veggie burger sounds GRRREAT!

Hartford. We try and get a 7-ish flight, that way we can be in the parks for lunch!

17 days...I'm so jealous :thumbsup2 We're thinking of a Dec. 09 trip...sigh...so long to wait....

i couldn't find pizza planet in the menu section...is it new?
Try "Toy Story Pizza Planet".

Which menu area are you using? I highly recommend www.allearsnet.com , and Pizza Planet is under MGM (Hollywood Studios). They have the best menu's!!!
