We have worked out we will have a few counter services left over to use for breakfast.

Can everyone tell me where they prefer to use their counter services for breakfast please - either hotels or in the parks ... many thanks.

I used to like Starring Rolls quite a bit (at Hollywood Studios), but the allure is gone. They used to have various spreads (including lox, which I loved) for bagels (which are quite fresh), but they seem to be gone now. And the way they have the baked goods put out is very bad. I saw a child, with remarkably dirty hands for so early in the morning, manhandle a half dozen items trying to get her mom to buy her one. Some, but not all of those made it into the trash, but there was really no way to know what the child actually touched. They really need to put a guard up so children cannot reach into the baskets -- effectively, they need a sneeze guard from above and below. :)

I like the Boardwalk Bakery a lot (and not just because everything is out of reach of over-active children). :)

I love using them at Main Street Bakery or at the CS place in the Poly. You can get Tonga Toast there!

This trip we tried breakfast at AK at Pizzafari and the breakfast pizza was very good. We also liked the breakfast platter at Noodle Station in MK(eggs, biscuit, bacon, potaotes), but I think this is only open during busy season. In the past, we had the egg and ham and cheese croissant sandwich at Main St bakery and it was very good also. On our last day of our trip we had 2 cs left when we checked out of OKW and so we went to Port Orleans French Quarter and DH had french toast(I think) and we also had egg platter, it was later in the morning so fewer crowds, but it may be crazy earlier.

When staying at All Stars, we use CS for their breakfast platter. You get one hot beverage, one cold beverage and a nice platter.

We'll often use the counter service at whatever resort we're staying at. With POP's and POR's being the best of the bunch we've tried.

In the parks...we love grabbing a bite at the Main Street Bakery in the morning! Breakfast at Sunshine Seasons in Epcot is also great as the variety of choices is enough to place it tops on any list!

While I agree that no one should be touching the baked goods that isn't a CM, I think a lot of adults are disgusting, too!!! Not just kids.

I like Main Street Bakery for CS Breakfast!

You've succeeded in grossing me out. I used to love Starring Rolls for breakfast, too! We need a list of places that we can eat without kids or anyone else mauling through the baked goods.
1.) Boardwalk Bakery (I have bought cakes there but never visited it for breakfasts or snacks. I will put it on the list of "safer" places.

I love CS breakfasts! I love getting the BIG platters they have at nearly every resort that comes with eggs, pancakes, sausage, bacon and a biscuit. I usually give the pancakes to DS and DH makes a sandwhich of eggs and meat on the biscuit. I eat the leftovers! :rotfl:

We stayed at the Wilderness lodge our last trip, and we loved the breakfast at The Roaring Fork. They had a breakfast platter with eggs, bacon, pacakes, hash browns, and a biscuit. The platter was huge, me and my hubby split it between the two of us. It was a great use of a counter service!

The Main Street Bakery was heaven. I got the biggest cinnamon roll/pastry in my life. We also had breakfast at our resort too. The kids loved the mickey waffles.

Poly at Captain Cook's. For a counter service I think they are pretty good all around.

Sunshine Terrace at the land is one of my favorites, plus if you get there early enough you can eat and then usually jump on Soarin with no wait..

Can you really get into Sunshine's to eat before Soarin' even opens?

Actually it is Sunshine Seasons (sorry about that) and we got there at about 9:30, were one of the first ones there, ate and then headed straight to Soarin. Grabbed a fast pass for later and then went on in and waited about 10 minutes in line.

Capt Cooks at the Poly, SS at Ep and where ever Im staying.. This time around its just DH and I making it a nice relaxing trip so Im thinking we will go to PM since we are staying at CSR and get it to go so we can either eat in our room or out side..We have to go to Main St Bakery atleast once for the cinnamon rolls too but we always pay OOP for our breakfast and use them for lunch unless we have CS credits left

The CS at AKL, Mara, has one of the best breakfast platters going...Breakfast platters include eggs, seasoned potato wedges and a choice of bacon, sausage or ham (these offerings come in both adult and child sizes). There is an even bigger platter that includes all the above and Pancakes. It is even reasonably priced if you pay out of pocket.
