Counter Service Breakfast, where is your fav?

We are breakfast eaters and have only so far eaten breakfast at our resort's CS location. My DH just asked where the best CS places are supposed to be for breakfast and for once I had to say I do not have a clue However, I know a lot of nice people who can give us good recommendations.

So what is your suggestion for a good CS place for breakfast either anywhere at WDW?

i think most everyone......i said most not all.........eat their counter service breakfasts at the resort. breakfast at the parks would be character meals for the most part. folks who get to the parks early are there for one reason, to get on the rides before the lines build. most resort breakfasts are about the same. in the parks for the most part it is danish and such.

My fav counter service for breakfast is Wolfgang Puck's Express at the Marketplace. Yummmmm!!! Lots of choices.

DH and DS love pastries, so we always stop at the Main Street Bakery at Magic Kingdom (as we're running to the rides), but last time we discovered the Boardwalk Bakery (yummy!)

Pizzafari in Animal Kingdom has some good offerings if you're looking for more than a danish or bagel. They have breakfast platter w/ biscuits, potato, eggs and meat. They also have a breakfast pizza I haven't tried. I've heard good things about Sunshine Seasons in Epcot for CS breakfast.

Inside the parks I like Sunshine Seasons in Epcot and Mainstreet Bakery in MK.

My favorite breakfast on property though is to just get something simple from the Boardwalk Bakery and enjoy a quiet breakfast on Crescent Lake before Epcot opens. It is very quiet and peaceful and I would choose it over a character breakfast any day. If it is a little rainy or cold there is an outdoor covered patio on the back of the Boardwalk lobby that I use to eat the breakfast. The bar area in the resort is opened for breakfast and has small items like fruit and bagels.

Lately we have been staying at POP and for breakfast there we just use the snack credit and get a cinnamon bun or blueberry muffin this maybe for 3 breakfasts.
Now for the CS breakfasts one place we head to is Cap't Cooks in Poly for the Tonga toast maybe 2 times for the week and another CS we go to is Riverside food court for the made ot order omlet maybe 2 times a week.
Then we may do Boma or Crystal Palace for a TS breakfast.
Now we do drive the rental car to these place to make it easier to get around.

The best CS breakfast in my opinion is Main Street Bakery for humongous cinnamon rolls and ham egg cheese croissants. We have had breakfast at just about every single resort CS place and they are all the same and just eh to me

I like Sunshine Seasons at Epcot and DH loves Starring Rolls at DHS. The rush for TSM kept us from our usual breakfast stop there on our last trip, and he was really bummed.

We also usually stick to the resorts for breakfast (or grab an early lunch) but the omelettes at WPE are amazing. Also last trip we made a special trip over to Captain Cooks @ the Poly to try the Tonga Toast - who knew there was such a surplus of sugar last year but it was very nice, plus the whole atmosphere of the Poly was just nice to sit and chill out at before starting our day.

I can't agree with that. In four trips to Disney World and scores to Disneyland, I've never had a character meal. I have, however, had lots of breakfasts in the parks and in sit-down restaurants in places other than the resort where I was staying. I could be a minority, but I'm not alone.

To the OP: my favorite counter-service breakfasts are at the Boardwalk Bakery and the Main Street Bakery.

Have to agree with Main Street Bakery in MK...specifically the warm French Toast Loaf. But, we usually grab it and go and eat while touring.

i was under the impression that the french loaf toast was discontinued?

Beignets from the food court at Port Orleans Foodcourt . . . we're not staying there this year but we're planning a couple of visits to get some of these!
