Counter Service at MK

We have the counter service dining plan and will be at MK twice during peak time. We have locked in a late lunch at Be Our Guest both times. Is this a smart choice? Will this save us the hassle of find lunch during peak times? Should we think about CS lunch elsewhere?

Eh. I think once is plenty for BOG.

Consider going upstairs at Columbia Harbour House, or Pinocchio Village Haus at an off-hour.

We love BoG for lunch and my kids have requested we go twice on our upcoming trip. I'd keep the 2 lunch ADRs, we love both the braised pork and beef sandwich meals!

For dinner QS, I recommend Columbia Harbour House and Pinocchio's Village Haus.

Yeah, once for lunch at BOG would be fine. I would try somewhere else. I would also suggest Columbia Harbor House, our favorite QS in MK. Great for something other than burgers and we love getting a table upstairs by a window. Very nice and quiet.

I love Columbia Harbor House also, but....since you are going at a peak time, and counter service in MK can have very long lines, you might want to keep your two ADR's for BOG. You will definitely want to preorder your food online before you go, because the order line at BOG can back up pretty long, while those who have preordered have a much shorter line. Enjoy your trip! I recommend the strawberry cupcake!

I think BOG lunch would be great to have twice, that is if you enjoy their menu offerings, it would give you to chance to try two different meals when you go two times. I thought the food quality was as good or better than most of their other QS options. Plus the restaurant itself it very nice and cool. I enjoy Columbia Harbor House for the decor and atmosphere, their food is pretty good for QS and we do often eat here for QS dinner.

CHH is our favourite..We snag a window table overlooking HM upstairs and love all the offerings..

I would change one BOG to Columbia Harbour House.

^^Jumping on the CHH bandwagon. That Tuna sandwich is so good after a steady diet of burgers and grilled chicken salads. That being said, also consider The Plaza. Even though it is considered a TS, the prices are more like CS.

We hardly ever do one park for the whole day. If MK is our afternoon park, we will leave our morning park and stop at one of the monorail resorts to eat at their CS place before heading into a crowded MK. That way we don't have to fight the long lines for CS food in the park.

We could do BoG twice. I have a hard time deciding between the tuna salad and the beef sandwich. I'd keep the reservations. And make sure you preorder. You can wait until that morning.
