I've never eaten at a counter service in Hollywood Studios before, it's always been table service restaurants. We're going to try one when we go in March, so I was wondering which do you guys like/don't like? thank you!

IMHO, DHS is severely lacking in good CS. Mostly, I just eat at Pizza Planet. I've heard that Starring Rolls has good sandwiches that I may try on my next trip.
We have eaten at Studio Catering Co. most times and have found it to be fine - not super good or totally horrible. I usually get the chili dog and DH gets the bbq pulled pork sandwich, DS4 always gets mac n cheese when available and loves it everywhere in WDW.
On our last trip we tried the ABC Commissary and really enjoyed it. I had the chicken curry which was quite good. DS x2 had chicken nuggets - my youngest DS has food allergies and we were happy to find that they had the new allergen free nuggets for him to have.
Toluca Turkey Leg cart has wickedly awesome salads...although they are not exactly a "healthy" salad...they are loaded with yummy pulled pork and all kinds of other stuff...very good for CS! We also enjoy Pizza Planet - more for the atmosphere than the food, which is average.
We liked Pizza Planet. I did not have the pizza though, I had the Pizza Planet Chicken Salad which was very good. DH said the pizza was all right. The kids enjoyed theirs.
I eat at Backlot Express everytime and like it a lot. You can get a hot turkey sandwich or veggire sandwich, but also burgers and fries. therefore I can get something "healthier" and my DH still gets his burger
our family has eaten at all the counter service restaurants in DHS and found good food at all of them.
Our favorite is probably the sandwiches at Starring Rolls -- limited selection, but all good. And we really like all the choices for dessert there (if you're on the DDP) cuz it's any of the bakery items there, not just a couple of prepacked desserts like most counter services.
Nice outdoor seating there, with umbrella tables, too...you can people-watch & have some shade.
2nd Fave would probably be Pizza Planet...pizza not bad (it's not gourmet, either) but was good & like the side salad & hot choc chip cookie for dessert. Yum.
