Countdown!

I would love to meet you all too!

Down to 3 :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

OK let me tell you how my day has been. Came home from having breakfast with a friend, and found a 4-5 foot snake in my kitchen! According to the critter control guy, it was probably a very lost water snake, aggressive. A sheriff's deputy came to help me keep it in the kitchen until the control person came.

I'm shot for the day as far was work goes, or is that just an excuse?:)

Ugggg!! I can completely understand! When I was young I walked out into our kitchen and in the middle of the floor was a 1 1/2 foot garter snake. He was the last of 3 snakes we found in the house after workmen had failed to seal up the hole they ran the air conditioning condenser wiring thru. The snake trauma was started.

Then a couple years ago I walked toward the kitchen of our current house and there was a young snake sitting on the tile floor. We guessed it was a young gopher snake since that's the only adult kind we've had in our yard. DH was finally able to grab him and boy was he pissed! Hissing and trying to whip around and bite DH. The worst thing - our current kitchen is on the second floor! :scared:

Wow, there are lots os snake stories out there! One story will be enough for me, I hope!:scared:

II've been known to ride the boat to WL, just because it's so beautiful!

Bobbi:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

I had to chuckle because I was reminded of an incident at BWV. When the boat pulled up, the driver went down the row of people asking "Where are you going?" to make sure we were all getting on the right boat. When he got to me, I said "For a ride on the boat", which is all I was doing-it was nighttime and a beautiful ride. Well, everyone laughed, but the CM-he gave me a look like "you wise****!"

Unfortunately, I still have 35 days to go, starting to watch for those DME documents.

A fellow boatride lover! Before my walking problems began, I truly thought I would be a boat driver/helper at WDW.

I'm down to 2:cheer2::cheer2:

6 more days for us. I'm as excited as the first trip:goodvibes. Have a wonderful time!

So sorry to hear about the snake ordeal. I hope you have a wonderful time at BLT and the Fantasy cruise should be wonderful. We cruised on the Dream before our December WLV trip last year and enjoyed the ship and their private island. It's like a mini Disney World with trams and we spent most of our time at the adult beach. Apparently, they've cut down on the DVC giveaways. Have a great time!

Nice to hear from you, Charmane! I'll be taking the boat to WL & eating lunch at Roaring Fork this afternoon! We're on the Dream, the cruise begins on Friday!

Thank you everyone for the good wishes!

See you soon, Sandi!

I thought I was the only one who took rides! Hahaha...love your answer! You were telling him here you were going!! :rotfl:

Until I read your thread today I didn't realize I was 7 days away from arriving at Kidani!
By the time we get there you'll be cruising, but we do plan on watching the fireworks on 8/14 at TOWL before the privilege goes away!

I'm sure you're having a wonderful time!

Wish I could say I was going, but alas, I am not.

My wife and I love boat rides too! Three weekends ago we were staying at OKW and she turns to me and says, "I just want to do a boat ride tonight." Having already gone to DTD that afternoon, we took the bus to MK, caught the boat to WL, then on to FW followed by BLT. It was a delightful time. The waiting period at each dock was short because of the fun we had watching and listening to a team on a scavenger hunt.

Have a great time. BLT is on the docket for our next visit.

The first time DH & I met Meriweather & her DH, we met them at OKW & took the boat to DTD & back. We walked around DTD, took pictures by the Christmas area, & began an ongoing friendship!
We often spend time after eating at Cali Grill, waiting for the fireworks, by taking the loop you described. Never saw a scavenger hunt, that was special!

PS. My room was ready by 2, second floor standard view. I hope to meet Sandisw tonight!

Sounds like you are having a good time these last days of the countdown to the cruise!

At least once a trip at OKW, we will walk over to HH and take the boat to DTD and back. Of course, now they make you get off and back on, but that's no big deal.

Hi Diane, Jean,
It's slow going, but still fun! DGS arrives tomorrow. That's the test, 3 people in a BLT studio, but I think we'll be just fine!
