Should we keep this pace up and post again?
Sure! Why not!
What else could that title mean other than the very lovely Advanced Dining Reservations? I love eating at Disney. Some of the food is just okay, but some of it is very good. Plus, often times its just pretty to look at!
We are not on the Dining Plan, we dont like to be committed to it and plan our trips around the meals we enjoy the flexibility with a little one. Plus, we always end up saving money when we dont use it.
Our first ADR will be on our 3rd day of the trip, Saturday, September 4. I had a much coveted, loved and desired Crystal Palace breakfast at 8:05 for this day but I canceled it. It caused me a great deal of anguish and pain. However, I canceled it because of two very special ADRs that I did get, and we didnt want too much booked. One of those very special ADRs is the
WISHES DESSERT PARTY!
How I love thee.
This party is awesome. Unlimited eats and beverages, PLUS we have a seat for Wishes and do not have to corral a small child on the curb of Main Street. Worth every single penny!
Our second ADR is the next day, Sunday, September 5. Dinner at Rose & Crown! We have never eaten here, but from all the rave reviews over the past 8 months of it, it just had to make the list. I read Joe the menu one evening and he didnt even have to hear it all he was all about it! The reservation is for 6:55 pm, and hopefully our meal will take long enough that we can enjoy Illuminations at 9:00 pm from our table or the patio. Again, corralled child. Its a good thing.
The third ADR is the following day, Monday, September 6. This was the second very special ADR that I made the Grand Floridian Tea!
I am very excited about this!! It will be our second time doing the tea, and hopefully it will go smoother. Last time, if you read the report you may recall Henrys reaction during the entire tea:
and he would stop crying when we pulled him out of the chair, but
he kept leaving the room! Joe and I ended up enjoying the tea separately, taking turns walking around the lobby with Henry. Still, we loved it. Hopefully this time we can all enjoy it together. And if Henry starts throwing a fit, Ill be more prepared with a Mommy bag o distractions.
The next day, Tuesday, September 7 brings us to our fourth ADR, and it is a dinner at Mama Melrose! We had this ADR booked way back in November 2008, but ended up canceling because we were both sick that trip and we just could NOT stomach food that day. We have wanted to try it since. Joe loves him some Italian food, hopefully this does not disappoint!
And our fifth and final ADR is for the next day, Wednesday, September 8. We have a breakfast booked at Cape May Café .where I will have my first ever Mickey waffle!

I debated back and forth between this and the Crystal Palace I gotta have a breakfast buffet! Eventually Cape May won out. Its something different and new, it gets excellent reviews plus the characters in their beach gear are just too dern cute! And as a huge, huge, HUGE, bonus its at the Beach Club, just steps from the Boardwalk. Love that.
As for counter services we keep that pretty flexible on whatever we are feeling at the moment. One is required.

And hopefully we will get to see this guy, because he's just plain fun:
We also have some loose plans to check out Via Napoli, the new pizza place in Italy. Joe cant say no to pizza, so if this place is good, we might be there more than once! (I'll eat there once, after that I'll be hitting up the rest of the WS! I like pizza, but not as much as he!) If the new Mexican place is open, well surely check that out too we LOVE Mexican. And Beaches & Cream is loosely on the list as well. It's steps away from the Boardwalk, and oh, so tasty.
As for snacks well, that will be another update...
