Countdown to Adventure *Pirate Style*CBR/CSR PICS!!

I seriously fear being trampled on our way to TSMM, so glad to hear your experience was pretty positive. I can't wait to give it a try!
We enjoyed Sci Fi last trip, but weren't able to get a ressie this time.:confused3 Sorry your CM wasn't so into his role.

I have started reading your PTR:thumbsup2 One month from today!!!
BC sounds so great, and SAB looks like a great time. We took the boys to the Sandcastle Club last year and they had a blast!

Love the pictures of the pool and the beach! Did your boys go on ToT? I'm wanting to take my 2 boys for the first time on it in June -- were they scared? Any tips to make it more bearable?? RnR roller coaster looks so fun!

Can't wait to hear about Jedi Academy. My DS6 got picked for our first trip and loved it. I think our chances of getting picked during SWW will be much slimmer with the heavier crowds.

They did do ToT. They still don't like it. The first trip-they were 4 and went on it. When we got done, Evan said "That ride was NOT for kids!":rotfl: and wouldn't go on it the next year. Alex went when they were 5, and didn't want to do it again, but they both tried it again this year and still didn't like it. IDK-they love RNRC, which I would think would be freakier, with the 0-60mph launch! So, I guess I don't have any good advice-but I know there are tons of young ones who LOVE ToT..

That wasn't very helpful, huh??

Do you like the boys shirts? I made a bunch with transfers from Kellybell Designs on the Creative DISigns board! She is awesome!

We went to the Jedi Training academy. I told the boys ahead of time that there were many children and not all children will be chosen to participate. Even so, Evan was heartbroken when he wasn't chosen. Another life lesson learned!

Later in the day we went to meet Prince Caspian. While we were in line, the boys were squirming around. I told them if they couldn't be still, they would NOT be able to meet Prince Caspian, which resulted in these faces:

Ahhh, yes. Our hero-Prince Caspian! He was REALLY into his role, the boys were in AWE:

That evening, we went to DTD for dinner at T-Rex. What a fun place, but I was glad we had a ressie!! Our server was great, very friendly!

We went to Goofy's Candy Company, it took an hour to get our 2 treats. Not eager to repeat that experience!!

Coming up next: 1900 Park Fare and Kim Possible at Epcot

OMG I was pretty annoyed at Gofy's candy co! It took us over an hour to get 3 pretzels. Wayne had them special ordered - I think he had one bite of them. (I was out waiting with two sleepy kids outside) We wanted to use up snack credits in there, but it was so busy in there and we just couldn't deal with the crowds (and me pushing a double stroller around wasn't fun)

The boys t-shirts are awesome!! We went to TRex too, it was great!!!

The boys are so cute!!!

There was a major communication breakdown in there-OMGosh...The boys were just antsy (and they hadn't even had all that sugar yet:laughing:), but I was too!! An hour for candy!!! No thanks!

I am loving your TRpopcorn::

Wow, that Prince Caspian is a major cutie. It looks like they had great character interaction.:thumbsup2

An hour @ Goofy's?! It would have to be a very specific time of the month for me to wait that long for chocolate.:scared1:

I LOVE the boys' shirts. I think I'm going to see if I can get one made for Ian. He would think it was DA BOMB!

Wow, TRex looked pretty crowded. Sorry to hear about the bad waits at Goofy's Candy, I was hoping to check it out on our June trip. Loved the pictures of the sad faces on the boys, some major pouting going on there. Great trip report so far... keep it comin!!!

We had made a ressie for T-rex. It was at 5:30ish..we walked right in. When we left around 6:30, the line was going out the door!!:scared1:
I gotta ramp up my report, I just looked at the calendar and realized that 1 month ago, monday, we left for WDW!:sad1:

Signing on. Better late than never.:thumbsup2 I read the entire report...shhh, don't tell my boss.;)
Well, thanks for reading!!! Your secret is safe with me:rolleyes1

I decided to try 1900 Park Fare for breakfast, then planned on taking the monorail to Epcot. I thought the buffet was pretty good. I wouldn't mind going back and trying dinner sometime for the Lady Tremaine and stepsisters experience. Evan was not thrilled about having his picture taken with the ladies (as you can tell..) but Alex was a trooper. The Mad Hatter was so funny. He and Alice both asked the boys if they were the Tweedles and which was Dum and which was Dee.. I would think that the Mad Hatter would have a HUGE headache at the end of the day from crossing his eyes so much.

We headed to Epcot and did the FW circut. We were headed to SE when we saw these two with their handler. They waved us over and we got a pic. 3 minutes later a line of about 50 people had queued up! The boys love Chip and Dale, so this was great!

Seriously-you have to try the Kim Possible Missions: They are so fun (for anyone!!) I loved getting into the countries and seeing things I had never seen before. Over the course of the week, we did Norway, China, UK, and Mexico. If you have youngish children, I recommend doing the mission earlier in the day so they don't poop out. You can pick up a ticket at Innoventions that tells you where and when to get your Kimmunicator.
DSCF6717.jpg

We had a late lunch at LeCellier. It was so good! We had the best server (Laura) of our trip here and a good meal. OMGosh..the pretzel bread.."What boys, you don't want any?? Well darn-I guess I will have to eat ALL of it.." I got chicken (why would I eat steak at a steakhouse??) the boys had some random kids meal (same thing every day, it seemed) and for dessert, I tried the Campfire S'mores (is that what it is called??) Holy sweetness. Marshmallows dipped in chocolate rolled in sprinkles on top of a chocolate covered graham cracker on top of ice cream on top of another graham cracker:scared1: You get the idea..

After this we finished up our Kim Possible mission in UK and headed back to the Poly on the monorail. Kids Club for the boys! (Yay) An evening of peace for Mom (double yay!)
Up next: The Neverland Club and F&G pics

The 1900 Park Faire pics are great. I tried to get a dinner ressie sort of as an add on, but they were booked.

My crew is so excited to try the Kim Possible missions. I'm a little worried about fights breaking out over the Kimunicator, though. How did the boys do?

"It's my turn to push the button, Mom!"

"No, he did it last time!"

"Ummmm-Alex, you go ahead and push the button"

"BUT, Mmmoooommm-HE got to do it last time"

Kinda like that:rotfl:

I am reading your PTR-so much fun and less than a month away!!:wizard:

Love your trip report! I am in awwwwwwwww that you would make this trip by yourself with two kids. WOW- what a mom!!!!!

We did so many of the same things!! I loved LeCellier. I forgot about the smores though!! I had wanted them and Wayne reminded me after.

Loving the pics!!!

Great TR! I am excited to read more!!!!
Hi!!:flower3: Thanks for reading!

A year ago, I wouldn't have attempted it! It also helped that I didn't have to do any driving-that would have been a deal breaker for me. They were perfect, and it worked out just great!!
:dance3:

What's that you say? There is a kid's club for kid's 4 and up who are potty trained? In 2008, Alex and Evan went to the Sandcastle Club at the BC while my mom, grandpa, and I enjoyed a nice dinner at Tutto and enjoyed the F&G displays. The boys loved the kid's club and were sad when it was time to go. Fast forward one year-hmmmm. A night to myself, smack dab it the middle of the trip? It's a done deal! I signed them up for the Neverland Club at the Poly. They get supper, and video games, and movies, and toys, and, and, and! The check in desk was so cute, it looked like a bed in the Darling Nursery (I didn't get a pic, darn!) and then the kids "fly through the window" into Neverland. If you are comfortable being parted from your child(ren), I HIGHLY recommend it!

Do I look waaayyy too excited about an evening alone?? Am I a terrible mom??
0429091720a_334924.jpg

On the way back over to Epcot on the monorail, I shared the car with a family whose little girl was just having a meltdown. "I want to go first!!! I want to go FIIIIIRST!!" Now, I am all about sympathy and not judging in these situations, because we have all been there, right? So I asked the mom (who looked frazzled out of her mind) if she wanted to move her closer to the door (where I was standing) so she could go "fiiiiirst:laughing:" The mom said "oh, she wants to ride in the front of the monorail. I am SO SORRY about this!" I told her that I had just dumped my kids at the kids club, and could feel their pain:rotfl2:. They were very jealous:lmao:
We unloaded at Epcot and they told me to have fun. A little while later a heard this "Ma'am?? Ma'am!!" behind me (er, ahem-I should say at this point that I was younger than this couple, so I technically am not a Ma'am:snooty:j/k) It was the same woman from the monorail. She gave me a fastpass to Soarin' and told me to enjoy a peaceful ride for them. They then proceeded to race off to an enjoyable dinner at Le Cellier (I am sure:rolleyes1)
I wandered WS, had something fruity and alcoholic, something French Bakeryish (those French girls are just sooo :rolleyes2-or is it just m?), and something Chineseish. I also took flower pics, which you can skip, if you wish:flower3:

I picked the boys up with a smile on my face, rejuevenated and ready for the next 4 days (or is it 7 days??? Keep reading!!)

Coming up-AK and the "glove of ice"

great updates... a night to yourself... NICE! I cant even imagine... Epcot would be my choice for sure if I had a night to myself. I think when Owen gets old enough I am going to do that for one night. We wouldnt vacation in Disney w/o them... but I WOULD like to have one night to go out to dinner with Wayne and a few hours of going on some rides, just me and him!!!

Ooh, your evening sounds perfect.:thumbsup2 Fun was had by mom and sons. What could be better? The bonus was that you then came back refreshed and ready for the rest of your week. (or so)

You should definitely save the picture of the boys inside the frilly white curtain for graduation.;)
