I'm fine! We're about to put the house on the market in early February. So now we have to find somewhere and some place to move to!

where are you moving too, did you tell me this before and i have forgotten????

were you just downsizing?

We are on our three year plan, I get to retire in 3 years and then we move back to Texas.

No, you haven't missed anything about our moving....we are just tired of a 2 story house with John's walking problems.

We are considering Asheville, NC, Charles Town, WV and Frederick, MD and maybe Colorado Springs and Seattle area as well. That's our big problem - we have no clue where we want to live other than not in the Washington metro area.

I like your 3 year plan; sounds wonderful that you can retire so young!!!

Frederick is about an hour from us, Charles Town is about 1.5 hours.
I think I like where we are because we are right in the middle of DC, Annapolis, and Baltimore, but not in a city at all.

BUT it is not Texas...

David still has to work, but I can quit and we can move, his job can be worked from anywhere, so that gives us some freedom. I talked about maybe working when we get to Texas, but it would be no rush and it could be something that I wanted to do, or a job that I wanted, not something that I had to do.

Anyway, Jan of 2019, we can start planning our move!!!!
