Okay so far more than 15 times since I started counting on fox news channel.
Too bad the news peoples power isn't shut off!!!

I know exactly what you mean. It seems like they're disappointed that it wasn't terrorism:rolleyes:

Well, even if its not terrorism, it was nice of the news channel to show all the power grids and tell everyone how everything works in the US....they just give out way too much information sometimes, which just opens the US up for problems, don't you think.

When we didn't know what was going on we all though Terrorism right away. I mean, come on, all those cities...it was pretty weird that no one had power from Toronto to New York and some parts of Ohio, thats pretty widespread.

Once they knocked out the whole terrorist thing everyone was much more calm.

I agree Minnie they might as well escort them thru the cities and point out all our weaknesses and hand them blueprints of everything.
It was nice of them to say so quickly it wasn't terrorism but then to go on and on about how the terrorist could take advantage, etc. etc.

So, you think that people weren't already thinking that already? Did you really think the media wasn't going to bring it up? It's all part of the concern in this situation.

And if you have time to be counting how many times they say it...:(

I think it is best if they know for sure it was not part of terrorism plot. I am sure government officials are investigating every avenue in this terrible situation.

I was glad to see how the residents of the cities effected are behaving. 911 was horrible but I think it taught our Country how to cooperate and act in a time of crisis. It also left us in a position of fear and wonder. It is hard not to associate these type of events with terrorism.

While I do not agree with the media exploiting this type of situation, it was good to be able to see and know what was going on.

Well the first that came to my mind when I saw the pictures of people and cars on the bridge was - hope there AREN'T terrorists watching this....what a great way to start an evil plot against the world. All those people out in the open and a great way to fool the cities and then do something when everyone is off guard and thinking everything is okay. I think the news coverage of this has been ridiculous. Okay - you showed us what happened, we know what happened, thanks for letting us know when areas of power have come back on but come on - why do we have to keep going on and on and on about it. I'm sorry if anything thinks I'm being rude about this but come on - it's a power outage. Newsbreaks once in a while for an update but to go on and on and on and on and on........

My thoughts exactly Dec. 99. As soon as they knew it wasn't a terrorist attack why continue scaring people with all the what ifs?

Fojmo - I'm on vacation and have plenty of time to count it... :p :p

And yes I know people were already thinking about it and yes I knew the media was going to bring it up, I just wish they wouldn't go on and on about it the way that they do. Sure let's let them know how vulnerable we would be if we lost all power. I just think sometimes they give them too much info. Maybe just maybe the terrorist haven't thought of everything.
