Could you explain baby swap for me?

Hi,

We are a group of 11 people of various ages 1-40something,,,,how would baby swap work,,,does one person wait with the baby and then swap and all the others wait for the person who waited first or do the other people minus the one waiting with the baby get to do or,,,?????\

Hey, first of all, let me say....we are going down for Night of Joy also. I am so excited! Baby Swap is simple and we have used it a million times. You take your baby to the cast member at the fast pass entrance and ask for bs pass (they must see the baby.) The CM will give you a pass as well as a few others fastpasses, so that you do not have to ride alone when the rest of your party gets off. The kids in our group loved this, because they often got to ride an attraction 2x in a row.

Even though my children aren't "babies" can we still use the babyswap. This sounds silly let me explain...my DH , DS(9), and myself love rides. Now my other 2 DK's (6 and 2.5) are a different story. Can either DH or myself wait with the 2 that don't want to go , the other take DS(9) on the ride, then come switch so that the other can go on the ride? Using a pass from the CM? I'm sorry if this is confussing ! Do you know what I mean?

Every ride handles baby swap differently so the best advice is to go the CM at the entrance and ask.

Most will give you a speical Fastpass for baby swap. You can use that swap pass any time that day which is nice.

Some rides, though, have the child, especially if they are old enough to ride, go in the line with you and you just swap at the ride itself, like the Star tours ride.

Some rides like Test Track might have you swap at the ride's exit.

Just ask at the entrance to each ride how they handle it.

When we tried to ride Splash Mountain and ToT last November, they measured my (chicken) 5 year old and told me that because she is tall enough, we had to all go in the line together and did not issue the special baby swap Fastpass. But it does depend on the CM because later in the day, they didn't care about her height and did give us the special Fastpass.

The special Fastpass some rides give out are good all day and for up to 3 people so you do not have to ride alone.

We used the babyswap on our last visit with DS6&2 and it was great. DS6 loved going on the rides twice in a row!! Have a great trip.
