argh - this is the third time i'm trying to post this :(

Can I get some feedback on my itinerary?
I am REALLY happy with what I have but would love some more expert advice
As background--it is me, dh, ds-5, dd-4. we have friends joining us from 12/11-12/16 and my parents from 12/14-12/16. Friends and parents are florida residents and can handle a good pace of touring. We were last there in 2003 for the friends wedding at GF.

We are at the VWL from 12/10-12/18. Friends and parents are at WL. kids DH and I are on DDP, friends and parents are not. Plan to use our own cars for transport except at MK.

Sat. Dec. 10
--Arrive at VWL ~ 3:30
--naps for kids and DH, I go grocery shopping
--5:30 hit MK
--CS – TBD - suggestions

Sun. Dec. 11
--bfast on the run
--MGM
--CS MGM – ABC commissary?
--3:30 Nap
--7:30 dinner at Citricos for 4 – kids at Cubs Den

Mon Dec 12
--Epcot - EMH
--Land food court CS
--late afternoon naps
--7:30 dinner at Jiko for 4 – kids at Cubs Den

Tues Dec 13
--SeaWorld
--MK: Morning
--3:30 Nap
--5:30 leave for MVMCP
--CS at MK – Cosmic Rays?
- 7:00 MVMCP

Weds Dec 14
--AK – morning
--CS – tuskers (or should it be flame tree)
--1:30 return to room
--4pm Epcot for Dive Quest
--5pm we swim with the fishes :fish
- 7:00 ADR for 8 at Marakesh
- 8:15 Candlelight processional

Thursday Dec. 15
--MK: Morning
-- 1:20 CRT for 8
--3:30 Nap
--post nap pool?
--7:50 Chef Mickey’s

Friday
--MGM
--CS MGM – ABC commissary?
--3:30 Nap
--7:30 dinner at California Grill or 2 – kids at Cubs Den


Sat. Dec. 17
--TBD for park – leaning toward AK
--3:30 naps for kids
--5:30 Epcot
--7:30 dinner at Chef de France

Sunday Dec. 18
-- first thing – check in for flight at resort
-- TBD for park – leaning toward MK
-- CS in MK – Columbia House?
-- 2pm bitterly leave park for trip home :sad :sad
 
Looks good to me. I would leave that Sat. morn (18th) as an "open" day. It's near the end and by that time you will know what you want to see more of or didn't get to see on the other days.

Thats how I usually plan mine and have planned mine for my Dec 10-17 trip.

Have a great time.

Also, be aware that you may be sleeping in a while after the night of MVMCP. If you stay out til it ends (12:00)

Looks good.

Why not use Simba's Cubhouse instead of Cubs Den your night at Jiko's? That way the kids are close by, they get to be at a different childcare place, and if you go early enough you can let the kids do craft activities and explore and see the animals outside!

I do think of Sat as kind of open since we'll know by then what is really exciting to our group.

i think we'd be heading out of MVMCP around 10 but we'll see.

i'm going to look into that right now - you may have just saved me an hour of childcare time - thanks!!!! :banana:
