As a medical professional, he dispenses advice on how to stay healthy, so during holiday gatherings, where by the way, foodborne illnesses are very high, he gave out some advice about germ transmission. I'm sure many people wouldn't think of this sort of thing, so it's just an FYI on his part. If you go on health unit websites and such, you will see these tips, as well as not thawing frozen food out on counters, putting leftovers in fridge right away, etc.
For all of those people who don't care for Dr. Oz, there are many who do - it's interesting to see some of these responses!
