Could we get a sub forum for games?

All these games are taking up 90% of the front page of the community board. Anybody who posts something other than a game gets pushed down to page 2/3 rather quickly and it disappears without alot of responses.

WISH has it's own board, birthdays, scrapbooking, etc... why not games?

Thanks for your consideration in this very important matter at 6:35am.

I've mentioned this before, but not as its own thread. Maybe that will catch some attention. I have nothing against the games at all. I just think there are enough to make it easy on everyone by giving it its own special place!

Wow, there ARE a lot. And I never go to page two. Maybe that's why I don't spend much time here, but I get a lot more done around the house. :)

I agree - really like the games but look at this board as an information/support group. Wonder if the moderators would consider creating a "games" board. I would visit both!!:):)

Have a Magical Disney Day!!

What a great idea. Yesterday, at one point, the whole front page was about 80-90 percent full of games.

Keeping this on page one so it doesn't die before someone SEES it! :cool1:

Come on! Let's get the GAMES people their own board! :cheer2:

Wow, you're right, there are a lot of games...I guess we DISers like to PLAY!!

This is by design. The Debate board was closed, leaving only the community board for essentially the same thing. The difference is that the community board see so much traffic, that really hot threads get buried before they have a chance to get ugly.

I'm glad you mentioned it...I saw so many games the other day I was shocked!

Thanks!

Normally, I don't like to complain about what others post, but I gotta agree with you on this, Zakatak. On days when the board is loading slowly and you come for conversation, it's frustrating when almost every thread on page one is a game you don't play.

I would suggest also, that that board be where the mega-threads are placed. That is, those 1,000+ page threads such as the Ya-Ya's, Angels around the World, Who feels like a thread killer, Bo Bice's fan club, etc.

Nothing against these threads or anybody posting on them, but I have no interest in getting involved in them and would prefer they stop cluttering up the Community Board. Wouldn't matter to me much if I had high-speed internet, but I don't--I'm still on dial-up--and my time here would be spent more efficiently if they were elsewhere.

{{shrug}}

I read through the "New Posts" link, so I am used to skipping over threads that don't interest me.

A "Games Board" or "For Fun" board are a great idea!!!
Wonderful suggestion!!!
