Oh No!!! I am so glad to hear Ryan is ok and that you were safe at home. That is so scary. My DH was in a bad accident and I thank God that he was ok. It is heart wrenching to get that type of phone call.

On another note... get ready for a hijacked thread!
Jake was born on Sunday, September 23rd... 10 days overdue!

I am happy that Ryan is alright..Very thankful that all you lost was a vechicle. There is a saying that "everything happens for a reason" and sometimes we don't know what the reason is when it happens. You guys are in my prayers.

So glad to hear that Ryan is OK and that you were not in the car! A wreck is sooo scary and it can happen at anytime. It is a big reason that I always live by the moto to never let anyone in my life not know how much I love them. Life can change in the blink of an eye. Don't worry about the car situation either. God has his way of working things out.

HI FRIENDS!!!!!!

How are yall?!

We are very great. This entire experience with the wreck has taught us to really appreciate each other (and our families) every single day.

Been dealing with the insurance people. Finally got the appraisal on my totaled car. So, plan on going either Friday or Saturday to buy a new one. We'll only have to put down about 7K but at least I get a new car out of the ordeal, right? Just in time to have cheerios, kool-aid, and sticky hands get all over the brand new seats!

Yall have no idea how much I have appreciated all of your comments. Thank you so much for caring. It was very difficult to get through the first two days, then after that, we just realized what it COULD have been, but WASN'T, and we were just overjoyed. And we know that we are blessed. Very blessed. And I'm thankful for that.

So, went to the Dr. again yesterday. Pretty uneventful. Heard the heartbeat again. This time it was 161 beats/minute. So it went down from 185 last time. Dr. said that's very normal, so we were just excited to hear the little one again.

Yesterday I started my first trimester!!!! WAHOO!!!!

And TWO weeks from TODAY, I'll know if we have an Emerson or a Hays!!!!!

10/17 at 8:45 am!!!!!!

PS- Got the bedding in today and it is PRECIOUS!!!!! So, now I can pick out a paint color and as soon as the room is painted, and we get the crib in, I'll post pics!!!!
