Could we be any hotter??? Our JUNE Trip Report (Pics, Pics, Pics!)

I'm sitting here dying laughing. ALl I have to ask is what did the family do after that?

:lmao: Guess you should have banged on their door earlier. Glad you weren't so sick that you couldn't go on to MK.

So sorry you were sick. Ya know, in reading these
TR's so many people get sick at diz. Probably so
many people spreading a lot of germs:sick: YUK!
Also, the plane can't be germ free by any means!!
Those folks next door were just plain RUDE:mad:
You did good by telling them off!:woohoo: You rock
girl!!! Can't wait to hear the rest!:coffee:
By the way, love your home!:)

Ahh, that anti-nausea medicine is a miracle drug! I know all about that one! I'm sorry you got sick, but I'm so glad you were feeling better after a few hours! You can't be sick at Disney!!

Courtney, I am in a real delima here. I can't wait to read more, but don't want your trip report to end either.

OMG, I have tears in my eyes. If I was sick and they were being loud I would have done the same thing. So funny though!

My DD and I are loving your report!! And she age 11 loves your hair:goodvibes She just donated 14 inches of her hair to Locks for Love and is now into "styles":thumbsup2

I just have to ask--what medicine are you talking about? I have the worst stomache and I would love to have something like that on hand!

Being sick on vacation is the worst :guilty: All those months of planning....thankfully it seem to be short lived. You are not the only one who can't stand drivin' the porcelain bus.

I can't wait to hear your report on the PTC. It's one of our favorite restaurants at WDW.

Take care,
TK

Oh, I'm sorry you were sick. That is the worst...esp. when you are on vacation.

I'm happy that you finally told them to shut-up. I hate when people think they own the hotel and everyone else can deal with it.

Your dog is so cute!! She makes the perfect model. :)

Thanks!!!! I tried really hard on that cliffhanger... The climax is coming next!
Do we really have to read about your fun with Ryan?? :rotfl2:

Accent? What accent? =)
You know, that cute little southern drawl, like CK's!

Well, I am not a good throw-uper. I’m horrible at it. I cry my eyes out.
I'm a good thrower-upper! :lmao:

The worst thing would to be sick on vacation… And tomorrow, I had to meet Disneyolic (aka DM for Dawn Maree)… I just HAD to meet her! For several reasons:
1. She is the originator of our Stalkers thread… Well, she and I both! ; )
2. She had become a good friend of mine through the DIS and via email.
3. I’d been looking forward to meeting her for MONTHS!
4. I had something for her… A New Orleans Saints baby gift for her brother’s child… They don’t sell saints outfits in New York!
Awww...you were even worrying about missing out meeting up with me! I would have been extremely disappointed if we didn't meet up. I would have tried to find a way somehow, someway....

Billy loved that outfit for lil Emmy. I put in on top of her when she was laying down and it's soooo big right now, but next year she will be cute as a button and totally original up here! Thank you so much!

So, to spare you all the details, I was sick… For about two hours. Not throw up sick. The other kind.
That really sucks but at least you weren't throwing up and you go to sit down...:confused3 :sad2:

“SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Totally awesome. I would have done the same, only earlier...

But once he was up, he took care of me like any good husband would.
Add having a wonderful husband to the list of Courtney's unfair qualities...;)

Magic Kingdom here we come!!!! Dawn Maree, here we come!!!!!! MGM, here we come!!!!!!! 50’s Prime Time Café, here we come!!!!!!!!
Yes folks...the time you have all anticipated. My debut in Courtney's TR.

BTW Court, DawnMaree is spelled all together, no space...just saying. :rolleyes1

Hope this post wasn't a letdown b/c it was so short... But lots more tomorrow! Remember, we have our last FULL day plus another day (our go home day).... so lots more to post and lots lots lots of pictures for tomorrow!!!
May I make a suggestion? Break up your next installment in a couple different posts. MK for one, MGM for the other the next day... Come on...drag it out for us.

:rotfl: :rotfl: I am so glad you finally put those neighbors in their place. Good going girlfriend. Another great installment. I cant wait to hear what comes next!!!

Yeah, drag it out like me. I am still on day 1 and I have done at least 4 or 5 installments. Who knows. It's all so RANDOM!:lmao:

I LOVE potatoes--- any kind, any way, as long as they're on a plate! I think I ate some of those off of his plate... And some of the onion rings that were on top of the steak.

Accent? What accent? =)

Dana and I ADORE potatoes!!! Bob likes them, but we LOVE them. When Dana was born, she was very pudgy and my little brother nicknamed her "Potato" and the name has stuck. (only Uncle Joe can call her it, however! - how many almost 14 year olds want to be called "Potato"?!?! :lmao: of course - "Miss Twiggy" that she is now makes the name all that funnier! :goodvibes )

And, don't you go trying to fool anyone.... Ladies & Gentlemen - Courtney has the BEST SOUTHERN BELLE ACCENT you'll ever hear!!! :cutie:

ps: glad you liked the reading... definitely "pass it along".;)

I am so glad that you werent sick for the next day at Disney... I would never wish sickness on anyone during a vacation~ so I am very happy that you were ok! I am also one of the thousands looking forward to hearing more of your tr... and last but not least....

FINALLY- the Southern Girl showed her "bad girl" side.... Being from NY i would have said something the first night and they probably would have left dead stuffed animals in front of my door!!! :) :) :)

Looking forward to more fun! :rotfl:

Well, I am not a good throw-uper. I’m horrible at it. I cry my eyes out. I hate it so much that when I feel like I need to, I just start crying b/c I hate it so much. It’s the worst kind of “normal, routine” sickness. So, I get up, go to the bathroom and didn’t know what to do. …….”

Every scenario went through my head. But luckily, I’m a hypochondriac (well, I don’t know if that’s a good thing, but this time, it was good), and I had brought the heating pad and the phinagrin (spelling??- the medicine you take when you have a stomach virus). Yes, phinagrin does need to be refrigerated. But I brought my ice packs on the plane and then put them in my fridge at POP. See, my poor dear husband was sick with the virus the ENTIRE WEEK of our honeymoon in Hawaii. So, I learned that you should always be prepared on vacation.

Anyway- I was ready for anything… I hoped; but I also hoped that I wouldn’t have to use any of that stuff!

Now, here’s where my not so southern charm came out with good ‘ole S.F. Well, on one of my trips to the bathroom, I hear the WONDERFUL (MUCH sarcasm) family next door doing the usual- having conversations, screaming at the kids, watching TV- at 2:30 in the morning!!!!!! And I’m sick, no less. The last thing I want is to finally be able to fall asleep and have them chit chatting next door waking me up. So, on my way back to the bed, I banged as hard as I could on the connecting door and screamed,

“SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

OMGoodness!! that is PRICELESS
!!!! :lmao:

And let me say, I am EXACTLY THE SAME!!!! You would not (well then, maybe YOU would!) believe what I bring with me - the heating pad and every stomach medication imaginable!!! I have the WORST stomach and I HATE to throw up, too! I also hate to be anywhere NEAR anyone ELSE in the situation. (thank goodness Dana was never a "spitter upper"!) When I taught, everyone in the school knew it and the kids would say, "Mrs. B doesn't do vomit." :lmao:

Side note: could all of that FOOD CONSUMPTION have had something to do with your tummy ache?!?! :confused3 :rotfl:

PS: Love Miss Maddie's modeling photos!! ;)

BTW Court, DawnMaree is spelled all together, no space...just saying. :rolleyes1

Oops.... Didn't realize that! NO SPACE! ;)

Yeah, drag it out like me. I am still on day 1 and I have done at least 4 or 5 installments. Who knows. It's all so RANDOM!:lmao:
Loving that you are "dragging it out"! :goodvibes

FINALLY- the Southern Girl showed her "bad girl" side.... Being from NY i would have said something the first night and they probably would have left dead stuffed animals in front of my door!!! :) :) :)

Looking forward to more fun! :rotfl:
Ok - that made me laugh hysterically, because it is SO TRUE!!! (and especially after meeting Courtney - she is so sweet and darling - NEVER would she do the "typical New Yorker" response!) But, me being from NJ and having worked in Manhattan a number of years ago, I know EXACTLY what you mean, Jrabbit!
;)
Renée

Oh I'm so glad that you finally gave the S.F. what for!!! They completely deserved it! I probably would have done the same or reported them to the front desk long before then!!:lmao:

I'm sorry you got sick  but am glad you got over it fast. That "I'm gonna throw up" feeling is the absolute worst - how awful :/ that sort of thing should be outlawed at Disney!

and now, remember, you encouraged me to do this ...

I bring you, Miss Zoe, the cat. Infringing on a dog's world ....
