Your baby really is beautiful! What a gorgeous shot of him in the leaves.
I know you're worried, and rightly so. I just wanted to add that my DH was diagnosed with 'failure to thrive' as an infant, and was hospitalized a few times. He was always smaller than other kids his age as a youth, but hit a big growth spurt in high school, and by college was 5'10.5", and very healthy (and a real beefcake!)
Interestingly, both our boys went through low-weight stages between the first and third birthdays. DS2 is very thin and not a very good eater, and I guess it is not uncommon for kids at 2yo to be very picky eaters, so I'm not too worried.
Once both boys were eating food, the doc told us to feed him high-fat foods to try to get the weight up (fat at this age is actually very good for brain development as well), so we fed them lots of YoBaby yogurt, which they both loved.
DS6 is a perfectly healthy, average-sized little boy, and I'm hoping DS2 will catch up in weight on the growth chart by age 3.
I'm hoping things turn a corner for you real soon! Take care.

but now she's 115. Both my children are now normal size and doing fine, I know it;s hard not to worry-but hang in there.
