that is close to WDW.
We are going to be staying at the WL from the 2-9, but after we will spend a few more days in a hotel (form the 10 - 13th). Normally we would stay with family in the Orlando area, but due to a sickness that won't be possible.
So before I start surfing around looking for good deals, I thought I would run it by my Dis friends to see if you have any good suggestions that I can check out.
Thanks in Advance :thumbsup2

My sister and mom stayed at Comfort Suites Main Gate East and enjoyed it. There was a recent review up above on the sub-forum and others have said good things about it. My mom booked through hotelmartusa.com for $70-$80. There is a nice pool and free deluxe continental breakfast where you can make your own waffles.
Good luck.

I was going to suggest that one too. Although I haven't stayed there I've read some good reviews about it. It was almost completed when we stayed next door at Holiday Inn Eastgate now Serelago a few years ago. It looked very nice and it's close to lots of restaurants etc.

We are trying the Sheraton Safari in Nov. for 1 nt. prior to going to our timeshare. It's very close to DTD and has a cool slide at the pool. Plenty of places to eat nearby.

We got it for about $78/nt. including all taxes thru www.alpharooms.com. The website is based in the UK and was recommeded by another diser. I asked opinions on the UK board before booking and got all positive responses. You can search in US$, not just GBP.

If you are not going to be doing the parks those days, I'd also suggest Regal Palms Resort. You can book through hotelkindom.com or cyberrentals.com (preferred...private owners).

The pool area is awesome with lazy river, slide, hot tubs.

For under $100 a night you can rent a 3 or 4 bedroom townhouse.

You may never want to go back to a hotel again.

Thanks for the suggestion, and to everybody else as well.
We actually will be doing the Parks for the days we will be at the hotel, so I probably wouldn't need something so nice. In fact I was kind of hoping for something (if possible) in the 40 to 50 dollar range. I know it's Orlando, so prices will be jacked up higher than in many other places, but because we won't be spending too much time at the hotel, I would like to try and keep the price down as much as possible. About the only "comfort" we would like would be a small kitchen, or even just a refridge and a small table to eat breakfast at.
I realize that it will be hard to find something like this, but I was hoping that maybe somebody here might have come across a great deal like that. Also, it will be somewhat off season (After Thanksgiving and before the Christmas season kicks in) We will have our car, so distance is not that big of a problem either. The closer to the Parks, the better, but to save money we would be willing to travel a bit farther if necessary.
I will be doing a lot of hotel surfing, but I always put more value on somebody's recommendation / experience.
Thanks again.

You could also look into Seralago Suites. I think this may be more what you are thinking? You can see this on hotelkingdom.com.

Have a great time!

Wow, thanks for the great link. I just did a quick glimpse, and already saw a couple of places that look really good for the price we are looking at (including the one you mentioned). I appreciate it!!!
