Hi there. My window to book ADRs opened on monday morning... and i was up and online at 6am... and still could only get a 4:40pm ressie for Crystal Palace and couldn't get anything for Tonys. Is that possible? I'm so confused about how all the reservations could be taken if I literally was online at 6am on exactly 180 days in advance... we are staying on site and so i could book for my whole vacation and even on the last day of the vaca again this is now more than 180 days in advance I still couldn't get the time i wanted for those two restaurants....

what is going on?

thanks!!!

Sometimes they don't load some restaurants into the system right away. All you can do is keep trying.

I agree with the previous poster as this happened for me. I was trying to make my last ADP for LTT and was having no luck on the first day I was allowed to book. I just kept looking and about a 4 days after that I was able to get my ressie and I tried a bunch of different time and had no problem at all...Not sure why they dont load all of the restaurants at once online...I wonder if it is the same if you called to book ressies?

Hi nbsmjs!
They changed their dining res system not long ago, to allow the online bookings along with the phone call bookings. You can call it 'growing pains', but eventually the goal is to have all the availability loaded as soon as possible. It really makes no difference for Disney as to 'when' they reserve the seats, they just want to have them filled. As far as finding room later, it's mostly because of modifications and cancellations that can happen at anytime.
Hope this helps! :D

I booked Crystal Palace online Monday morning for 2 different meals for my 180 day window. I had all kinds of choices for times and dates.

argh.. i'm so frustrated... i have been checking each morning since monday trying to get crystal palace for 5:30 instead of 4:40 and so far no luck... i'll keep trying...

True! I called at exactly 7:00am ET for a Mama Melrose Fantsmic at my 180 day mark (Nov 2nd). There were lots of Fantasmic pkgs available for Brown Derby and Hollywood & Vine even three days later, but nothing for Mama Melrose. I called Thursday morning about 7:30am and still nothing, but called again about 11:00am and had a choice of times for either night Fantasmic is showing that week.:confused3

To me the funniest one is the Plaza restaurant. I checked online for an ADR at 6:00 ET and nothing was available until the sixth day of my trip and only a late lunch was available then (1:30pm), however the alternates that popped up were CRT, Chef Mickey's, and Crystal Palace. All of which was showing available all week.:confused3

To OP, I noticed your 180 booking day was also Nov 2nd. I swear when I went online and tried to get the Plaza for 11:30am, that Crystal Palace showed up as an alternate at 10:30am and 11:30am for that week.

These are the same two reservations I had issues with this morning when my window opened!

Couldn't get Tony's at any time for our arrival day. Had to switch our Liberty Tree and Tony's days. Crystal Palace gave me very limited choices for times on the night we picked. I had to either go 45 mins earlier or the time I asked for or 45 mins later. I was surprised these were the tough ones. I was expecting to have to work the system for Le Cellier, Ohana, CRT and Chef Mickey!
